I have not done macrame in several years. I love that I was able to get a macrame kit with everything included! The kit even includes instructions on how to make basic knots! And for a great price!

This kit has everything in it that you need to start a project. I used it to make macrame plant hangers. It had everything I needed and more. There is a pamphlet included that shows the various knots but a beginner is going to need to order a book of what they want to make with step by step directions. This is just what I needed to get started.

The instruction “book” is for 6 knots. That’s it. No instructions for any pictures shown. Sadly no instructions for the wall hanging on the cover of the “book” pamphlets. I did macrame as a child. I’m a beginner again, I was not able to learn or remember from the 6 knot instructions. So sad!

This arrived in a timely manner and is exactly as described. This beginners kit is just what I needed. I am disabled and do a lot of coloring but I wanted to try something new so now I spend part of my time with macrame and I love it. The instruction booklet is a step, by step how to. This is very a satisfying past time.

Supplies are as advertised. The instructions tell you how to tie various knots, but that's about it. If you're a beginner looking for a pattern of some type, this isn't it. Fortunately, basic macrame is super easy, and an online tutorial should have you churning out groovy handmade plant hangers and knotted wall art like it's the 70s. Plus, there's plenty of material here for lots of practice.

Over all a great starter but as expected the string falls apart very easily. Would still purchase again.

Tons of yarn but 2ay thinner than thought it would be, beads are not as large as pictured, nor is the wood that came with it. Haven't done macrame in many years so this will work for now. Also, book is a pamphlet.

The materials are great but the little pamphlet included is not helpful at all for a complete beginner. The photos are very hard to follow along and I got this because it came with beginner instructions. I had to look on youtube anyway.

There is a lot in this package for the price for sure. I wish the leaflet would include length details.
