Dunlop Nylon Max Grip Jazz III Picks, Player's Pack, Pack of 6, Red, 1.38 mm

I was having problems with dropping plectrums and inability to stop them from turning around when strumming as a beginner, but this plectrum gives a much better grip, slightly thicker than most conventional plectrums, and not too big, so helps with a more accurate strumming technique . Very happy with quality, nice and bright to find should you drop it!

I like the grip on these, and the size is just right for jazz guitar.

Having said that the durability is good but I prefer larger picks.

I've been playing with full size Dunlop 1mm Black picks for 45+ years. One of the reasons I've stayed with them was the grippy texture. But recently I've had a bit of problem holding those picks (getting old sucks!). So a shopping I went. I found the Max Grip Jazz III 1.38mm picks while perusing Amazon. The texture looked even more grippy which is what I needed. I was worried that the .38mm extra thickness would be a problem, but for a few dollars what did I have to lose?Then I got the package and saw how tiny they were! OMG!!! I thought there would be NO WAY I could transition from a full size, thinner pick to these after playing with the black Dunlops for so long.Was I ever wrong. It took all of 2 minutes to get used to the new picks and after 2 days I've even found things I can do that I could never do before on my Acoustic guitars, even my 12 strings.Oh I still have some problems holding these tiny Max Grips, but it's WAY less then the the problems I have with the Dunlop blacks.I gave it a 3 for beginners because it's a thick pick and beginners may find it hard modulate tone and volume like someone with a few years experience. I'm sure they're better for beginners than the slick to the touch Fender full size picks I learned on though.

Tout est dans le titre !24 mm de haut sur 22 mm de large, il est petit mais avec la partie "Grip" il tient parfaitement entre les doigts. Il est de plus très rigide, juste comme j'aime. J'en ai essayé beaucoup, mais celui-ci est vraiment le meilleur pour moi. Mais bon, tout est une affaire de préférences personnelles.

I love these. Very popular with shredders, as they are small and hard, and very little point is exposed, so they're great at string skipping and faster playing. No, you won't be Eric Johnson right away, but you will begin to understand why he and many other players use these. I love them. Not so good for strumming or rhythm playing; mainly for single lines, lead playing. Recommended. Takes a bit of getting used to, but worth it.

La texture et la tenue sont excellentes, comme toujours chez Jim Dunlop, mais j'ai été surpris par la petite taille de ce mediator. On dirait un modèle pour enfant ! Et pourtant, je n'ai pas de grosses mains... A acheter en connaissance de cause car les photos sont trompeuses...
