A mixed collection
This book covers 9 techniques: spinners, sliders, wipers, peekaboo, pop-ups, hinge, swing , neverending, waterfall. Some of the themes for the cards include birthdays, hello, christmas, thank-you, halloween, etc. In terms of style, I think the Neverending and Waterfall are the better designed cards. This book is not for beginning users and geared more towards intermediate/advanced users. I found that it did not fully show the techniques, so It was not obvious how the mechanism of the card would work. It also does not provide fully illustrated step-by-step guide, which makes it difficult to follow at times. The instruction are written as un-numbered paragraphs(decreases readability), which make reference to the few photos accompanying the instructions.

Great service
Delivery as promised and happy with the product- not as many examples as I hoped. I bought both book one and two. A little disappointed in the content, as I was hoping for more new ideas, but I have watched a lot of YouTube videos that show instruction on similar ideas.

Great card making ideas!
I have been making animated cards for about five years. I enjoy making pop-up 3D cards, origami, kirigami, anything that is different and could double as a small gift. This book has a variety of impressive ideas that can be used for any season or occasion.Note: The first design I made took about an hour per card. The second design I made was more complicated and took about 3 hours. I used just regular card stock paper and scrapbooking ideas to decorate the cards. The measuring, cutting, and folding was sometimes a little bit frustrating but these cards turn out a masterpiece!

Okay for concept presentation
The steps to recreate the examples are clearly presented. The examples struck me as mostly useful for children's cards. Unfortunately, for most of these examples, what makes them appealing is the use of the very specific stamp messages and images combined to create these cards. By the time you have gone through your own stamp collection to come up with different messages and images that are appropriate to a particular card style/application, much of the anticipated fun has disappeared and it feels more like work than creativity. There are likely other books out there that provide more and better options for creating interactive cards.

I Hope You Have Experience with Interactive Cards!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok, so after going over the book. I still feel the book is hard to follow only because the step by step written instructions are overwhelming. There are little picture instructions except for maybe 1. The cards are beautiful and fun. I have to give credit where its due and don't want to write an unfair review, because of other frustrations with the book....AGAIN....NOT FOR BEGINNERS, but do have some beautiful and wonderful ideas.

If you like Spinner's, Slider's, Wiper's, Peekaboo's, Pop-Up's, etc..
If you like Spinner's, Slider's, Wiper's, Peekaboo's, Pop-Up's, Hinge, Swing, Never Ending, Waterfall cards/projects then you will like this book. The illustrations and written instructions are very thorough and easy to understand for someone that is not brand new to making cards. I highly recommend this book if you like to add some interaction to your cards.

Interactive Cards
I purchased this book so I could send my grandchildren cards that "did somthing". When I was young I looked forward to getting mail from my grandmother. Since my grandparents live to far away I didn't see them, but the letters my grandma wrote to me regularly I still fondly remember. I thought the cards would do the same for my grandchildren.

Not my style of paper craft
I purchased this book thinking it was more of a craft book but there is a heavy reliance on stamps presses and similar. Okay if you make your card for components but not much scratch card building here. The use of colour is good and there are some ideas with presentation but not much of interest for me.
