Flips AudioXB Headphone Speakers

Amazing quality for personal music, the speakers in flip mode are on bass i have loved using them sense i was in highschool

I was excited to try out these headphones, and they aren't worth a penny. The right speaker completely blew out after the first 15 minutes of use. Luckily, I got a full refund.Beyond that, the sound quality left much to be desired. I sampled a bunch of different genres, switching between speaker mode and headphone mode each time. The mid-range sound is almost drowned out in headphone mode because of the bass boost, so listening in speaker mode is essential. Even then the quality mirrors a louder version of my $10 earbuds, except with the highs and lows even more cut off. These are terrible for metalheads because the vibration of the bass speaker masks the deeper more guttural intonations, while cutting off their highs almost completely.The pads were very comfortable and not too tight, but they need some sort of mechanism to lock the headband into place. Even the slightest bop of the head is enough to jar the band from its mooring and send it back down to the tallest setting, again making headphone mode very inconvenient. While this isn't much of an issue in speaker mode, the speakers aren't very durable either. If you're not careful one of them will flip back in on itself and cancel out speaker mode on you (they both need to be rotated out to play in speaker mode for safety reasons).The battery charges pretty quickly and supposedly lasts a long time (it was almost drained when I took it out of the box). The annoying part here though is that in order to plug in your USB cable, the headphones must be reclining down on a flat surface in speaker mode. In this configuration, the headphones are pretty much forced to rest on the cable itself (because of where the port is located).Don't bother with these headphones!

The sound quality is better (slightly) than the basic versions of this product; but there are the same downsides. Build quality is Poor, the overall product is Highly Fragile. There’s a point (in photo, I have this area on both sides/both earcups) where due to the stiffness of the plastic used, you will “Break” these headphones within a week or 2, just by putting them on &/or taking them off your Head. I do this regularly through the week/most days; took me 3 weeks, the first side cracked week 1; & with me treating them with kid gloves the other side developed the same damage/wear @ week 3.I corrected the damaged design/product with electrical tape at the break points. I’m not going to shell out more cash to correct a design flaw like this. If it was not such a original product (economical headphones that switch into Speakers 🔊)I’d recommend a different vendor for this style of product.

So far these are Great, I read reviews about durability issues though for me they still are good, I use them at work.They would be the best if external speaker battery life was longer and /or they came with a Bluetooth option. I bought a Bluetooth adapter and it makes these headphones better. I get a bout 5 hours of continuous play on the external speaker and would love if the would go at least a full 8 hours for me before rechatde, though I may get a battery pack to plug these in to and try that.These aren't a bad price either.

Very good sound output and balance of sound excellent. Very snug and comfy.

Love these headphones got my husband some when they 1st came out in 2012 and his still work great, I use mine all the time and they hold a long charge

The plastic cracked a week after buying with health issues I have been battling this got put on the back burner I am trying to find the warranty information since I purchased an extended warranty so I can have these fixed or replaced
