I like this unit. It's a little heavy, which means it's well built. The weight actually augments the massage, because it goes deeper into the muscle. It can be used with both as a hand-held massager using the strap going across the back, or with the detachable long handle. Warning, they sent me a small replacement handle, to be inserted where the long handle goes, but once I put the short handle in, I couldn't remove it to try the long handle. The company sent me a new unit. The long handle has buttons to push to release it, the short one doesn't have release buttons. I suggest it not be inserted, but the unit works great!

Horrible!!!! I do not usually write reviews, but my utter disappointment in this item compelled me to do so. Literally lasted 2 uses! While using on my thighs, I start to hear a plastic rattling sound in the unit and then realized the massage head has broken internally. Please do not buy this product. I'm not writing this to compel the seller to replace it. I don't want to return it either, not worth the trouble. I simply dropped it right where it belongs ( in the garbage). I will never purchase a Styles product ever again.

Loved the longer arm detachment. However, it smells like it's going to explode at any given second. Don't really like how it vibrates so fast. It brings the blood to the surface and makes me itch super bad.

I've used several back massagers due to lower back issues. This one has a nice handle and it's reaches the sore areas great. But I find that I have to apply a moderate amount of pressure to get a good massage. I wish it were just a little heavier to do the deep massage better.

I have severe lower back chronic pain due to 3 herniated discs...been told I have degenerative disk disease. I also have Sjogrens which is an autoimmune disease ( attacks and affects my joints). For these reasons I purchased this great long handle massager with heat option. It's convenient, easy for me to give myself a back massage which in tirn relaxes all my muscles, decreases inflammation, reduces pain and discomfort. It's lightweight, the handle can be removed if preferred. It's the best purchase I've made to help the constant discomfort. Praise God, it's easy to use, great price, arrived quickly and I'm enjoying the benefits it provides to my lower back injury. It even helps to massage over an old scar, rather large due to surgery for a total hip replacement. If you have any similar ailments...if you prefer, or out of need must be independant in being able to give yourself a great massage.....try this, I think it's made a positive outcome for me and pray it will help you also!!! :)

I was very anxious to receive these products today since I am in pain. But I am disappointed in this product. I found a small plastic piece inside bag that came off the massager. When using it, it makes alot of noise, kinda rattles, like it may have a broken piece inside. It will still work but I don't think it is working right. I was hoping for someone to ship another massager or wondering how to resolve this. I am interested in the product, I just want it to be safe and operate correctly.

This was purchased as a gift for someone else. It was replacing a much older model that was no longer working. He is very happy with it and was using it when I called to ask if it had arrived. He has limited range of motion in one arm so the handle makes it easy to reach the shoulder/back area that needs the massage. Good product, prompt shipping, would purchase from them again.
