The Boy Who Reversed Himself

I read this book while in High School and it was life changing!! An interdimensional mind-blower for me at that age in the late 80's. So I bought it and now am reading it to my young teenagers. I'm giving it 4 stars because I didn't realize back then how juvenile much of the inner and conversational dialouge is - between supposedly sophomore/junior age high schoolers. My current 15 and 17 year old teens get quite a smirk out of the immature tone of things. But it's still a good read. Also, today's kids are much more savvy about things like quantum physics, black holes, time/space kind of stuff, so it's not as earth shattering for them as it was for me. I give it four HAPPY STARS! The words "ana" and "kata" have been with me since I read this book. I'm still trying to figure out how to turn in those directions!!!!! Hope you enjoy the book.

great book

I read this as a kid, and got it for my 7yr old. She loved it! Book was in great shape, and delivered quickly.

This has been one of my all time favorites since I read it at age 9. Incredibly thought provoking, but not at all dry. Plus, backwards ketchup is one of the greatest ideas ever!

As a sixth-grade teacher I have read this book aloud to my students for several years. It gives me an opportunity to introduce the excitement of math and opens up some incredible discussions about the strangeness of the universe and the possibilities out there. The kids want to hear it again and again, and many want to purchase copies for themselves afterward.

Strange story but a fun read

I read this book as a teenager and remembered it recently but only vaguely - couldn't even remember the title - so I spent some time on google and tracked it down to re-read it. An interesting story.
