Great way to add Bluetooth to an older stereo
I bought this UGREEN Bluetooth adapter to add wireless audio to an older stereo receiver that didn't have Bluetooth built in. Setup was about as simple as it gets. I plugged the USB end into a power source, connected the 3.5 mm plug to the AUX input on my receiver, paired my phone in seconds, and it was ready to go. The connection has been stable, and the sound quality is surprisingly good for such a small device. Music, podcasts, and YouTube audio all stream without noticeable dropouts. The blue status LED makes it easy to tell when it's connected without being overly bright. The coiled cable is a nice touch because it keeps the installation neat and doesn't leave a lot of extra cable hanging behind the stereo. If you have an older receiver, powered speakers, or a car stereo with an AUX input, this is an inexpensive way to add Bluetooth without replacing perfectly good equipment. I'd buy it again.

Perfect!
Update (10/30/2023): Samsung to the rescue! So I recently discovered that my Galaxy S20 has a routines feature where you can program the phone to automatically do certain tasks when certain conditions are met. So in this case I was able to use that to automatically play music on Spotify when my phone connects to this bluetooth device. So that basically solved the biggest gripe I had with this product. Even though it was my phone that fixed the issue and not the manufacturer of the device, I am still going to update this review to 5 stars because now I basically have no issues with it. Anyways, feel free to read the original review below. I love this thing! So much better than the previous two bluetooth adapters that I had in my car. I used to have a battery powered aux adapter and a cigarette lighter port powered FM radio adapter. The battery powered one sounded good but was so inconvenient because the battery would constantly die on me during car rides. I could keep it plugged in but then I'd have a cable dangling down from it which was annoying. Also because it had a battery, it was bigger and bulkier than it needed to be, which cluttered up my dashboard for no good reason. The FM adapter was a bit more convenient (no wires!) but it sounded terrible. The sound was tinny and full of static. Almost unusable because of that. And because my car's cigarette lighter is always powered on, even when the car is off, I had to unplug it and plug it back in every-time I used it or else risk killing my car battery. Not a big deal, but annoying enough that it caused me to rarely used it. This one solves basically every problem that my previous two adapters had. For one, it's powered by USB, so I don't have to worry about any batteries dying. Plus, I can power it by plugging it in to my car stereo's USB port which does power on and off with the car, so I don't have worry about plugging in and unplugging every time I get in and out of the car. Also, it has the form factor of basically just a cable, so it take up almost zero room on my dash. Super sleek and discrete! On top of that it connects to the stereo with an aux connection so it sounds fantastic and doesn't have any of that FM radio static. I even noticed that I don't have to crank up the volume on the stereo like I had to with my previous aux adapter. I guess since it was battery powered, it needed to cut back on the output to save battery life. There's one problem with this thing though, something that I feel is big enough to warrant taking off one star. The thing is that this doesn't have any buttons on it. No play, pause, fast forward, rewind, or anything like that. Understandable since it's so small and sleek that there wouldn't be any space on it for that. That's fine. They would have had to make it bigger to fit buttons on it, so I think that was a good call to not include buttons. BUT... one thing that would have made living without buttons so much easier is if it had auto play. It would have allowed me to hop in my car, the adapter would power on with my stereo that's powered on with the engine, the adapter would automatically connect, and the music would play on it's own without any user input. I wouldn't even have to think about it, it would just work. It does have auto-connect which is great, but no auto-play. Meaning I have to pull my phone out of my pocket, open the Spotify app, and hit play. Not a huge deal, but it's the one thing that stops this from being a truly hassle free experience where I don't have to fiddle around with anything to get music from my phone to my car stereo. If they changed that, this would easily be a five star product for me!

Works great
This little adapter works flawlessly. Pairing was fast and easy, and the audio quality is clear with no noticeable lag or static. It’s a perfect solution for adding Bluetooth to an older vehicle or speaker system. Highly recommended for the price.

Do not hesitate, this is the one, best price and function.
Magnificent!!! To start with, I didn't get this for my car as I see most people commenting in the reviews. I got it for my home entertainment system. Long story short, I wanted spotify to fill the room with my surround sound. In case you don't know this already, tv apps and firestick apps absolutely suck for music. I can mirror my phone to the tv. But then I wanted to complicate life, as I usually do, by adding either video or picture slideshow for background on tv screen. Impossible set-up, both cannot function from the same device, or mirror properly. I have to separate both music and visual functions. And my surround sound is picky about splitting bluetooth between multiple devices, it's just a headache switching back and forth. In come UGreen to the rescue. $13 bucks!!! It works amazing, at whatever price but, the fact it's so cheap! HELL-YEAH. I plugged it into the 3.5 jack on the surround sound, plugged the usb end into a wall charger. Went to my phone, turned on bluetooth, picked UGreen and voila!!!! Instant pairing, no hassles, no buttons, no numerical codes. And the sound is as crips as it can be. All the while streaming 12k video background on the tv. Very happy, definitely recommend, will buy again if I ever need such another device.

Easy bluetooth.
Works well. Worth the money. Easy to use. Sounds great. Easy to move to multiple vehicles. Seems durable. Does get warm with long term use. So far hasnt become hot just noticeably warm. Cable length is a little long for my application but hasnt been an issue.

Modern Tech for an Older Ride
If you have an older car that lacks built-in Bluetooth but has an auxiliary port, this UGREEN adapter is a total lifesaver. I was tired of messing with tangled aux cables every time I got in the car, and this tiny kit completely solved that problem. The setup is dead simple: you plug the USB end into a charger or your car's USB port for power, and the 3.5mm jack into your aux input. The Bluetooth 6.0 technology is noticeably faster than the older receivers I’ve tried. It pairs with my phone almost the instant I start the ignition, so my music is usually playing before I even pull out of the driveway. I haven't experienced any of that annoying "hiss" or background static that usually comes with cheap adapters; the sound quality is crisp and sounds just as good as a direct wired connection. The built-in microphone is another huge plus. I’ve taken several calls while driving, and people on the other end say I sound clear, which is impressive given the road noise in my car. It keeps things completely hands-free, making it much safer to navigate and take calls on the go. The cable itself is a coiled design, so it stays neat and doesn't clutter up my center console. If you want a reliable way to modernize your car's audio system without spending a fortune on a new head unit, this is the perfect solution. One thing that definitely gave me a laugh—and something you should be prepared for—is the startup voice. When you turn the car on, a voice with a very distinct Asian accent announces "power awn"

Great Cheap Bluetooth Upgrade for Older Car Stereos
This was a very inexpensive and worthwhile upgrade for an older car stereo that only had an AUX input. Setup was simple, and it connected wirelessly to my phone without any issues. The audio quality was actually pretty good for such a low-cost adapter, and it made streaming music and podcasts much more convenient than using a cable all the time. For the price, it works exactly as expected and adds modern Bluetooth functionality to an older vehicle without replacing the stereo. Easy to switch from one car or even to an old stero receiver to have bluetooth functionality. Overall, a good purchase and a great value.

2011 135i M-Sport (iDrive) Works!
Worked with my 2011 135i M-Sport and I now have bluetooth music (the car already had bluetooth calling) ,I connected it through the AUX, and 12v adapter to USB and it connects everytime! I will say that between directly using aux and bluetooth, on my sound system using the aux chord really makes the bass shake the car, but overall audio quality of the bluetooth adapter is great, and its quite a small cord and easy to hide underneath my center console.

Great adapter, highly recommended
Great product for anyone with a car radio that doesn’t have Bluetooth. On first use, you simply search for the Bluetooth device on your phone, connect to it, and that’s it. After that, it connects automatically every time you start the car, confirming the connection with a voice message. The sound quality is very good, and the minimalist design — about the size of a small USB flash drive — doesn’t spoil the look of the dashboard with unnecessary buttons or lights. Two devices can be connected at the same time, so you don’t need to disconnect one device before connecting another. It is powered via USB, so if your car doesn’t have a built-in USB port, you’ll need to buy a car charger for the lighter socket. Of course, this adapter can also be used with older hi-fi equipment.

No requiere configuración adicional.
