Tucker Toys Crush It Adjustable High Powered Baseball Bat with High Performance Foam Ball

My kids really love playing with the Crush-It! baseball bat from Tucker Toys. Although recommended for kids ages 5 and up, both my 20-month-old and 4-year-old like trying to bat the ball around our backyard. My daughter can sometimes hit the ball with the bat, and my son just like throwing the ball around while dragging the bat behind him. Both my kids can be a little rough on toys, but Crush-It! is holding up to all manner of abuse. The bat is blue and neon green while the foam ball is white, bright colors that are easy to see. I like that I can easily find both in my backyard because sometimes my kids leave the pieces in random places.I like that the Crush-It! baseball bat from Tucker Toys features adjustable string tension. To allow the ball to soar farther, tighten the string. For a smaller play area, loosen the strings. Adjusting the tension is as simple as turning the knob on the end of the bat. I like that I can control how far the ball flies with a simple twist. As my kids get older, I can make hitting balls out of our backyard a little harder by lowering the tension on the strings. I also really like the foam ball that comes with the bat. Soft foam is less likely to break windows and cause bodily injury. My kids and I are looking forward to playing with the Crush-It! ball and bat for many years to come. I received a ball and bat in exchange for my honest opinion.

I would give this FOUR STARS because I DO like the design and feel of the bat. But its durability rating is a ONE STAR and should be marketed as a "disposable bat". So for that reason, I compromised with a TWO STAR rating. I purchased this bat for a baseball-themed birthday party because of its light weight, hoping it would be comfortable for our family's youngest players (4yrs+) while functional for the aunts and uncles, too. It fit the bill on both accounts--lightweight, but strong when the tension was tightened. I like that it came with its own soft ball, which worked really well when we had to move the party indoors to a local church gym due to rain. (The BSN Orange Throw Down Bases I purchased through Amazon were especially helpful there, too.) Everyone liked the bat--it's just "cool". Moms especially appreciated not having to worry about someone getting hurt by the unintentional clumsiness of the smallest of players. But before the end of the party, half the strings of the bat came apart. This was a common complaint in other reviews of the product, so I wasn't surprised, just disappointed. The family kept playing with it anyway because they were having such a good time. None of us can figure out how to repair the bat. So, from my perspective, it's a "disposable" product and should be marketed as such.

My daughter wanted this bat after we saw some other kids playing with one. It really work and she can it the ball really far. Because it is so light weight her arms don't get tired. I tried it and even i was able to hit the ball.

Bat broke on first use & there appears to be no warranty. I am pretty disappointed & would not recommend anyone to purchase.

Bought this for my 8 year old and she absolutely loves it! It is easy to swing and she cannot believe how far she can hit the ball! This will be my new go-to product when buying a birthday gift for someone.

I bought one of these to use at the beach and its always a lot of fun. The kids love it because its more exciting than the boring old wiffle ball bat and the adults like it because this thing sends the ball flying if you adjust it. The strings do a great job of maximizing your swing's power and the grip is comfortable. The ball is durable as well.
