I bought it to hold an OnGuard Brute LS U-Lock (4.37 x 10.24-Inch x 16.8mm thick) to my bike, as the lock is a bit heavy to be carrying around even in a backpack, and especially when I plan to carry other things. The delivery info stated that it would arrive in 1 to 2 weeks (more or less), but it came in just a few days (BONUS). The mount can be attached in many different ways, as long as the mount point is round (bike frame or seat pole). As I have the longer U lock, there just wasnt enough space inside the frame so I had to mount it in a position just to the left of the frame (pictures attached). Once I found a good spot and tested that the petal and tires would clear, it was relatively simple to put in place. Its pretty pricey for what you get, but it seemed to be the simplest and most robust no hacks required solution to the problem.FYI, I compared this with several other devices, and based on the reviews, had finalized between this one, and the ones below...Kryptonite Transfit FlexFrame-U Bracket: this one looked OK but seems several owners complained about the mounting hardware, and had to hack the installation to get it to work right.Two Fish Lockblocks U-Lock Mount: A mostly Velcro solution, There were some complaints about how long it takes to wrap and unwarp the lock each time it is used. If i was going to use Velcro I could probably make my own.U-Lock Holster - Bike Mount and Case: Another velcro solution. This one had even more complaints than above. .If my opinion changes after some use, I will update this post. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It's even better than I expected *by T***1 on Reviewed in the United States on June 4, 2016* Very solid and well made bracket to secure your U-lock. It's even better than I expected...plenty of different mounting options (took me a while to figure out and decide how/where I wanted it), with short and long screw, and has a nice cradle inside for the lock shackle.
