Drive Medical Lifestyle Transfer Disc, 12"

I should probably give this 5 stars as the product works exactly as described, but I feel it's important that people realize that if you are transferring a person who is not able to help, or has cognitive issues it is not very easy to get them to always step on this disk. I think there are some larger size and they would probably work slightly better. When I do get my mom up with her functioning leg on this disc it does make it much easier to transfer her. The product works just as it is suppose to

Makes my life so much easier because I can get in and out of bed, in and out of car, in and out movie chairs...etc. with the help of just one person because I have a spinal cord injury and I'm limited mobility wise. A simple, yet life-changing product

I purchased this item for my mother who has cancer in one hip socket. She can no longer weight-bear with her right foot. The disc allows her to pivot from bed to wheelchair or commode, from wheelchair to car seat or other surface. It works really very well because it is easy to swivel, but won't send her flying off. It has waterproof traction on both sides and can be used with either side up (or down). It's very light weight but seems very sturdy. It helps Mom be independent (which she loves). It helps keep her from putting weigh or torsion on her fragile hip. It's a great product and the price I paid was Very reasonable.

Transfer disk worked perfect.

It turns more easily than I expected. Not sure if that's a good thing for turning an elderly person. Unable to actually use it, as my parent was unable to stand upright and support her own weight.
