The YT12A-BS Motocross battery is manufactured by YUASA in the same factory, using the same assembly process and materials. The only difference is the label applied at the end of the manufacturing process. Motocross came about as a way for YUASA to enter the ever growing aftermarket at a more reasonable price point without compromising quality. The YT12A-BS comes with pre-measured acid tubes that easily empty into battery. A vent strip (included) is then placed across top of battery to create a sealed, spill-proof battery.
