This product solves a key problem.Pun intended. As it happens, the night of the installation a neighbor with a 2016 z71 had its lock cylinders punched out.I spoke with the neighbor and let him know about this product. Easy installation with basic tools. Fit well on my 03 Tahoe and installation took about 30 minutes per side.I have given 4 stars only because the mounting screw effortlessly punctured the punch plate. Luckily I was able to catch the person helping me before it went too far. But a seemingly more reasonable solution would be a more form fitting screw as well as a thicker punch plate. Either way I was not interested in preserving the door handles and filled the entire cylinder housing with RTV for added impact control.Although I do feel the product is slightly overpriced, it’s cheap insurance and did do what it’s intended. Great jobI sleep much better at night
