This is a must-have to finish your Smart car comfort. It is very solid and easily installed. To secure it in place, I used 4 self tapping screws, two at the bottom of the cup holder and two at the inner front, where two holes are provided. My only issue is that, In order to power the external centre and right hand usb sockets, you have to provide power to the left hand one. As my photo's show, I drilled a hole to allow a usb to usb feed to the cigarette lighter inside, where I use a push-in usb charger. This is better than having cables dangling around outside the new unit. You cannot use the usb socket next to the SD card reader on the car's centre console, since this is for media only, not power. This is a great product.

Ive recently bought a Smart 453 to save dragging my Transit van everywhere. Im used to the arm rest in the van so this was he first mod I searched for. Ive seen them range from this one at £45 to over £150. I took a chance on this and was pleasantly surprised. It is missing the usual way of screwing through the cup holder to secure it, you could drill a hole in the arm rest and screw through but I used a bit of heavy duty Velco, it's secure enough. The only other negatives, the usb ports are on the outside, so the wires look untidy. I actually popped the usb port panel out and placed this inside the arm rest and have the wires coming from the bottom of the arm rest as there is a pefect gap at the bottom which is much tidier. Another negative is the power voltage, I keep getting a message on my phone saying the voltage isn't strong enough to charge my phone, this could be either the suplied cable (most likely) or the actual usb ports. Im not too bothered though, this car is for short journeys and this arm rest was bought as.....an arm rest, not a phone charger. Definitely worth the £45.

Fitted in seconds, I did add some double sided tape to hold it down though. Really smart & makes driving a bit more comfortable. Very pleased

Overall, it looks good and not like an after thought addition. Depending on how far back your seats are pushed dictates as to how firm the fixing is. The further back the seats are means the bin is clamped between the seat belt buckles and is less likely to move. The fact that the bin has a cup holder which fits into the existing cup holder on the transmission tunnel does not provide enough stability to stop the whole unit wobbling. The positioning of the 3 usb ports facing the outside of the arm rest means that the power cable (white, not black?) from the existing cigarette lighter comes out at the bottom front of the rest and up into the power usb port alongside the other two usb outlets. It looks horrible, and a giveaway to anyone looking through the window. A better design would have been to have the usb ports on the inside of the storage box so anything being charged could be hidden. There is also a stupid blue light inside the storage box which is pretty useless.

Fit perfectly and has loads of space inside for storage! Extra charging points too for usb cables - great purchase!

It only fitted properly if you drill into your car and screw it down. Black consol and a white usb cable. Returned as very expensive for what it is

Easy to install. Looks like it came with the car. Like other customer I also used an orange sharpy and coloured the stitching to match my interior. Very happy customer highly recommend

So glad I got this armrest for my car. It just finishes it off to a premium finish. Fits almost perfectly. A little lose but screw holes provided to secure it to the car. Looks amazing and for the price its a bargain. Also came a month early than expected delivery date.

Looks exactly like the image and feel comfortable with the height for an armrest. It slides forward as well to make it adjustable for people of different height comfort levels. Was a simple installation.

A qualidade não é a melhor mas também não é má. As portas usb não funcionam bem. Com a peça colocada não é possível alterar a inclinação das costas dos bancos. Vou deixar de utilizar e dar o valor como perdido
