What a great comic! Easy reading, but you would never know. Johnny is not eating healthy food, so his arm gets floppy and droopy... "It's floopy Johnny Boo!" Great fun to read out loud and learn about reading with expression. Nothing emotionally challenging or scary, and yet not silly or stupid. Finally!

I've been a longtime Kochalka fan, and this book did not disappoint. My two-year old adores it, and likes to shout out phrases from the book, like "It's not Wednesday!"We've been gifting it to friends and family members' kids for birthdays, too!

My daughter is a big johnny boo fan, and every book just get better and better. It's a fun, light, silly book that is not only enjoyable for the kids bu for parent also. I hope the author keep giving us more of johnny boo!

Randomly checked this book out for my 6 and 4 yr old girls from the local library and we all ended up laughing throughout the book! We read it about 6 times now and I borrowed it a few days ago. Looking forward to reading his other books!

This book is fantastic. My kids (6 and 3) have been reading it over and over, acting out scenes, and using catchphrases from it for a week now. It's like Monty Python and the Holy Grail for the elementary school set over here. The drawings are so charming and unlike a lot of humor written for kids, this manages to actually be funny. Hooray for Johnny Boo!
