Then calculate SG by dividing the difference between the heavier Weight in Air and the lighter Weight in Water, into the Weight in Air. You should be able to find a SG of Karated Gold chart online. **Q: What is the weight of the kit (my scale goes up to 314 g) ? thank you** A: The tared weight of that portion of the kit that actually sits on top of the scale's weighing platform is 26 grams. **Q: Could you use a 500 ml beaker with a 5 in diameter instead of the 100 ml one in the picture?** A: The short answer is Yes, but since the Beaker Holder in our SG Kit is sized for the smaller 100mL beaker, you would have to improvise your own 500mL Beaker support. Beyond that, the Tri-Wire support for the Underwater Weighing Pan, which sits on the platform of the Electronic Scale, surrounds the Beaker Holder, without touching, and is sized for our 100mL Beaker Holder, so if you were to still use our Tri-Wire support, your improvised Beaker Holder would have to fit inside that.
