It readily replaced the current filter and appears to be working fine. The current filter had filled up with sediment or whatever and the flow of drinking water had slowed considerably. Instant return to full volume when replaced with this new one.

Filters water for our ice machine and it works well, expensive and have to change more frequently than we would like, but completely worth it.

Good filter, lasts between 4-6 months for a single family.

Hook this on your water line to your refrigerator and you'll have the best water you have ever tasted, hands down. Just be sure and run the water through (quite a few times) when you first install it. We have been using this filter on our refrigerator instead of replacing the one that comes with it for years and the difference in the taste of the water is remarkable! It depends on how much water you use, but we have found that one filter lasts about a year and a half. Much better than any bottled water I've had and I believe I've tasted just about all of them and there is nothing to recycle or send to a land fill...

I've purchased nearly a dozen of these water filters over the last 10+ years to provide filtered water for our kitchen. They typically lasted about a year. The last 2 we purchased clogged up within 45 days of installation bringing the water from the refrigerator to flow down to a trickle. When calling customer service it was suggested that the city water may have sediment in it that has clogged the filter and I should invest in a "pre-filter" to remove the larger sediment before it hits the Everpure EV9619.I had a plumber look at the situation and he pointed to other faucets in the house that did not have any signs of sediment in their filters and that they have seen a degradation of quality in Everpure product construction.We removed the entire system and are simply using the filter in our refrigerator which now produces good water pressure and much better clear ice cubes.I'd stay away from this product until they revert to the previous quality, if so......

I have used this prduct for over 10 years , mu brother is a plumber who installed the unit and I feel comfortable knowing I have delicious clean filtered water to drink every day
