DD Audio DXB-03 Studio Headphones

When I first learned that DD had created an over head headphone I could not wait to buy it! I've had numerous DD subs and Amps in my cars. Sound quality has always been amazing. If your a Bass fanatic like myself Don't waste your money on these! They are a complete disappointment from a company who is notorious for bass. They are not a powered headphones. No batteries. The power source is what you plug Them into. More than likely your phone. So that's what you get. The vocals and acoustics sounded nasally and without color. The bass was a complete joke! I can't stand Beats headphones but they blow these out of the water! Save you money and buy the Bose Q25s if you want bass and quality. All DD did here was slap together some junk that probably cost them $10 to make and retail them for $150. Good for them and bad for us who expected some type of awesomeness headphone that was going to rattle my brain from the bass. Complete and utter disappointment. I expect more from DD. I hope you don't start getting cheap and sloppy with your subs and Amps now too! All for the sake of profit.......

I have absolutely no problem with the actual headset: great sound, comfortable, etc. HOWEVER, the cable that is provided is extremely cheap and the left side broke on me in only three months of use. If you're planning on getting one of these, just forego the cable they give you in the box and order a replacement, the felt-ish enclosing allows the wires inside to bend way too much which is what I think caused the issue.

Amazing headphones. Blows Beats away like they're nothing. Recommend these for everyone.
