Tidetime Tide Clock - Moon Face

clock seems to function as it should, looks good on my wall and will be a big help this boating season. I would recommend it to anybody that needs to know the tides

Very small, blurry image and over all poor quality. I bought is as a gift, and had to return it.

It is really pretty and colorful but smaller than expected.

I ordered this item a few weeks before Christmas thinking I had plenty of time for a holiday gift . I was a little disappointed to realize it had to be shipped from a company (Wicked or What) in the UK and delivery was scheduled for the first week in January. I was delighted however, when the package actually arrived a few days before and in time for Christmas! We set the clock as per directions on the day of the next full moon and it has kept perfect tidal times. A very affordable option to the more outrageously expensive tide clocks , (although there is no face covering) but it was perfect for our needs.

The surface appears as it is in the pic. The shape of the moon does not change. The only moving part is the hand. Cheaply made. Students will have to walk up to the clock to read the clock. I would return it but it shipped from overseas and I do not expect that it will be cost effective to return it because of shipping.

Tides occur every 12 hours and 25 minutes. This "tide clock", which is really just a regular clock with the minute hand taken off, assumes tides occur every 12 hours on the dot. After a day the clock is one hour ahead of the tide. After two days, two hours ahead, and so on. Completely inaccurate. Waste of money.

This clock is attractive and has kept the tides very accurately since we purchased it in February. Prompt service from across the ocean.

Very small and quality less than I expected. I bought it as a gift but was so unimpressed that I found something else to give and just stuck this thing in the closet.
