Dim light, but otherwise effective tool
The actual light part of the tool is a bit of a gimmick. It's a very weak LED powered by three button cells in series. You could replace the LED with a brighter one quite easily since it isn't soldered anywhere, but most people don't have LED's sitting around. I honestly just use a flashlight to light my tonsils. Otherwise, the plastic extractor tool is quite effective at removing stones once you get to use it.The metal extractor tool is very well-made, but it always seems to cause pain when I actually use it. I know a lot of people already use metal tools to remove stones, so if you do, this may be a great tool for you, but it's difficult for me to use.The syringe is quite effective for flushing out debris and dislodged stones.

Handy Small Light Easy to Use in the Mouth
The light is overly bright and concentrated with out the attachment. With a bit of a learning curve, you learn to fire it a bit to the side of your target. This lights up enough to see what you want to see and work on. The size of the handle/light is spot on when holding it and directing it in your mouth. It is not to big or too small to work with. Handy in tight spaces. The monoject-like syringe is great. Of the three attachments, I focused on using the larger and slightly blunter attachment to avoid scratching the tonsils. This is easy to do given how soft they are and prone to bleeding. This product is way safer then trying to do it on your own with a small mag light, q-tips and a standard syringe filled with water.

Worked Great for me
The light had sufficient light to do the job. The small tip attachment allowed me to scoop a small visible piece out and dig a second small non-abvious piece out. Then I tried the light purely as a convienent light source while flushing with syringe and large chunks came out. I was very impressed. The last few days I had been working at removal with baby que tips with some success and gagging. Removal with these tools is far more comfortable and more successful as well.If the kit left out the stainless steel tool and replaced it with a few more syringes, I'd happily give 5 stars. It's kind off 4.5 price considered, as I know I'll want a new syringe next occurrence of stones

The small things in life can make the greatest difference. Relief from tonsil stones is one of them
This product is great! It is a must-have if you have tonsil stones. Before this I was using Q-tips which didn't work very well and was rather unpleasant, taking a long time to even achieve removing one stone. I wish I had this product six-months ago so I wouldn't have had to suffer them for so long. If only I had thought to do some research, so if you're reading this you are making a good step in the write direction, next is to buy this and use it immediately! Since I removed the stones my breath smells great in the mornings and the back of my throat doesn't feel distended anymore.

Tonsil stones are super gross, they stink and hurt and make my breath bad. I had a hard time locating them in my throat but when I did I found the mother lode. A disgusting and hugely gratifying amount came out with the help of the light and the stainless tool. My throat feels amazing and I am very happy with the product. Side note; if you're like me and are thinking, "What the hell, where are the little buggers?" there is an arc of skin and I found the pockets just behind it, tucked away and begging to pop out. Ew/hooray!

but it's nice to at least have different options
I've been dealing with tonsil stones for a while now, and after some research, I finally bought a tool to remove them. This works SO well! The tool has a light , which really helps pinpoint exactly where the stone is, and the light flows through the tips, so vision is never obscured. I find that I only use one of the provided tips, but it's nice to at least have different options. It's a great product, and removes stones quickly, easily, and painlessly.

It is essential to getting rid of those irritating tonsil stones. However, you do need to be careful while scraping the back of your throat to ensure that you do not damage your tonsils.

Works, but plastic is easily broken
Works well to get the job done. But I think the plastic pieces, especially the tweezers are fragile. The tweezers broke on the first time I used it. I mainly use the metal, but it causes bleeding.
