Used on a trip to New Zealand. Extending the contacts for a New Zealand outlet, they seemed a little loose. Secondary problem was that most New Zealand electrical plugs have a on/off switch built in. The adapter is so large that it had a tendency to turn those switches off when inserting the adapted into the outlet. Also many plugs have a round edge around the contact slots, making the adapter impossible to use. Guess a solution would be if the adapter came with a little short cable to extend the reach of the contacts. Haven't been to the UK for some time but would suspect the same problem would occur there.

We bought this for our Europe trip. We went to Iceland, England, Ireland, Greece and Italy. The only place that it did not work was Iceland. It worked decently the rest of the time, but when plugged in, it let out a high pitched whine. The light was also really bright, so we had to put electrical tape over it in order to sleep. I would not buy again.

I am so disappointed. I bought this item last year for a trip to Europe. I thought it was great and worked well. I was happy with my purchase then. I took a second trip last month. I am now not so happy. I have only used the EU plug and the plug got stuck and would not retract. When I tried to retract for the second time, the plug on the side which moves the lever for the prongs to retract broke off. One would think this would work for more than just two trips. I love the idea of this plug but this one doesn't seem to be very well made

The Kiwifun travel adaptor is super handy for traveling abroad. I used it for my trip to Poland and I am definitely going to bring it with me on my upcoming trip to Italy in a few short weeks. The product exceeded my expectations and worked fantastically. When I studied abroad, some of the girls on my trip had problems with their adapters, but I had no difficulties. I would recommend to make sure you read the instructions, just so that you don't break off one of the plastic knobs when you are switching from EU to UK, etc. I really loved this product because I travel very frequently and I don't have to remember which adapter to bring with me on my trip.

Round Euro wall outlets were recessed and the square adapter would not fit into the space to plug in.Update:Contacted by seller and they are going to send me a new version when it comes out in a couple months. Good customer service, willing to make everything right, very nice.

I used it when I travel back to Asia, I can use all my devices anywhere with this converter.Easy to carry, with this, I only need my all the usb wire, charger plug is not necessary. I can charge my iphone, camera, and kindle.

Worked great and can be used when not traveling just with the 2 USB ports and US plug. It does have a very bright blue light that comes on when it is plugged in, so if that bothers you when you are sleeping, be sure to plug into an outlet away from your bed.

Worked perfectly. The only small issue I had was that it is a little top heavy so it didn't quite stay in the wall without a little help. It worked well in an extension cord on the floor.
