Works great, excellent price point, easy to use
I just recently received my Casfuy grinder and used it on Saturday on my 4 month old pups nails. I was amazed at how quiet the tool is, very low humming sound, I let my pup sniff it, turned it on near her to see how she might react to the sound and to my surprise she had no reaction at all! I started with just one nail just barely touching it for a few seconds then removing it, well surprisingly, that's all I needed to do to shorten her nail, just a little filing, briefly on the nail was enough to trim and smooth the nail. I had treats on hand which helped me to keep her still and she lay in my lap, munching her treats while I was able to trim all four paws in a fairly short amount of time. My plan is to trim them about every 4 weeks or so as doing so will keep them from getting too long and will take very little time to do.I really like the little light on the tip, very helpful to illuminate the nail so you don't trim to close. I choose the dark blue color which is kind of a midnight blue, I also like the slim.design, fits easily and comfortably in my hand, its light weight and very easy to use and very affordable! I'm very satisfied with it and it works just as described in the ad and in the comments section as well. I would definitely recommend this Casfuy grinder to anyone, especially to those with small pups like my mini poodle.

It is super quiet
This nail grinder is fantastic. Very quiet, got two settings, lights and is very easy to handle. I have a Border Collie mix and she is very skittish. Training was easy. Just get some very tasty treats. This will help me safe money by not going to the groomer every two weeks. Thanks'

First Use is Positive & Easy to use
I just received this product and have only used once. I had previously being using a Wahl, which I can't recommend for many reasons, one of which it failed after less than a year of use. So my review is more comparing the two products and what I like about this one.Being cordless is much better than corded because I can move from dog to dog in whatever position they are in easier. It is also light-weight, making it easier to handle. I also will start traveling more in an RV and having a nail trimmer that charges via a USB outlet so a big plus! This one is much quieter than the Wahl, though for my dogs that is not an issue.I really like the fact that the wheel is a grinder and not a piece of sandpaper that is used up quickly or flies off the wheel easily. One of my dogs still hates his nails being done, but the other dog did prefer this nail grinder, actually just rolled over and went to sleep.I have big dogs, so what seemed to work best on my first grind was to remove the piece that covers the grinding wheel, which is one of the recommendations of this product. Or, it may be that I preferred this way, because that's how I was previously grinding my dogs nails. Next time I will try the opening for the large dogs nails, but it looks small. I didn't try the large dog nails opening this first time because I wanted the dogs to have a good experience the first time using this grinder as I had previously use the old one.It has two speeds, I used the faster one on my large, hard-nailed dogs. I like the fact that the way to increase or decrease is pushing a lever that doesn't move easily when bumped. On the Wahl it is a wheel that I was constantly bumping into the wrong speed. There is a light, not sure of the purpose. It didn't help me, so maybe using it wrong? Not sure if it was supposed to help you see the nails better or to light up a dog's nails that are light in color so you can see the quick. My dog's nails are black.Obviously having only used it one time, I can't address the longevity of motor (which is what failed on the Wahl) nor how long one grinding wheel will last. I have two big dogs with very hard nails. I also trim my friend's two Boston Terriers, so when it's been in use a year, I will update this review then.

Better Than Expected!
I worked in a boarding and grooming facility throughout high school and college and I’m impressed with the quality of this nail grinder. It is a substantial weight that makes it easy to hold and navigate around your dog’s paws and nails. The two speeds allow you to go slower if you’re closer to the quick and faster if you’re not as close to the quick. The grinder is “sharp” and does a quick job of grinding the nails. It is quiet and doesn’t scare my Pug who usually hates having his nails done. I would recommend this to anyone looking to do their own dogs nails. A tip, especially for dogs with black nails, is to keep grinding in short motions until you see a black dot appear in the middle of the end of the nail. That’s how you know you are close to the quick and can stop grinding.

Quiet and smooth
I’m still in the process of habituating my dog to the tool. I’m pleasantly surprised at how quiet it is. She doesn’t even react to it being turned on and put close. It runs smoothly with no potentially scary vibration. It is a smart design. You don’t need a tool to replace the grinding wheel. I’d prefer it to come with extra wheels, but anticipating that this is a keeper I did order two extras separately. It is good that its batteries can be replaced. So long as the motor lasts this should be a less disposable purchase than some options.

Wonderful product! My new rescue finally let me use it after 3 tries, works great!
My dog didn't like clipping her nails so i thought I'd try this one. I had one of those similar but it was much bigger and gave it away as it was loud and none of my dogs would allow me to use it on them. This one here is small and very quiet. My dog is an 11lbs Chiweenie with small paws and thin nails, she gets that from her chi side. I used it on low to begin with as I am new to using this and really don't want to overdo it too fast and hurt my dog. So far it was easy and got enough off, she had long nails, to not make noise on the wooden floor, to give you an idea. I place my small dog on a table with a silicone matte to make sure she doesn't slip around as she does move a bit since its all new to her. I also use a 'cone' to keep her small face and nose away from the grinder. I found a con with fabric at the neck and plastic on top, very comfortable. I'd say less than 10 min for all the nails, but I rushed it through to keep her stress at the minimum till she's more comfortable with the process. For $22 it's great value for money. I am quite happy I bought it!

Good product
I have successfully used this grinder for my greyhound, who is terrified of the clippers. She was already accustomed to having her nails filed and accepted the grinder without any problems. She seems to enjoy the attention. It only grinds a small amount at a time, so I do her nails little and often rather than try to do too much all at once. A good product.

Works great on my acrylic nails
While it is quiet, my dogs still don't like their feet touched, so can't use it on them. However, it is great on my acrylic nails to shorten them and shape them to how I like them before I go for an infill. The battery seems to last ages once it is charged. I can't fault it, even though I can't manage to use on my dogs. They likely need some further training to get them to tolerate anything being done to their feet.

Too noisy
Too noisy for my Pug and Frenchie, they hate it!
