These are incredibly good Bluetooth headphones, but their subtle flaws keep from absolute greatness. They sound great, are comfortable to wear (I've worn them for three to four hours at a time on multiple occasions), and their battery life is outstanding. They're physically stunning, and I have gotten several compliments just wearing them around town. The sound is wonderful, particularly given how light and easily portable the set is. Speaking of portability, these things are exceedingly travel friendly. Whether their on my head, around my neck, or wrapped around the strap of my backpack, they never seem to be in the way. The package they arrived in was beautiful, and the carrying case they ship with is plush, cushy, and quite pretty; a perfect compliment to the headset's unique style.The problems with the headphones are slight, but worth mentioning. First, while in Bluetooth mode, the buttons on the right cup function as a remote for the media functions of the connected phone. The buttons are not physical, but instead are triggered by a three-way rocker pad that covers the right side of the headset. Pressing up on the pad activates the play/pause/power functions of the headset, while pressing on the left or right pads navigates the playlist or adjusts the volume. This is where the biggest problem lies. Holding the left or right buttons lowers or raises the volume respectively, while tapping either button moves backwards or forwards in the playlist respectively. I have lost my place while listening to music countless times while intending to either turn the sound up or down, and this has been a point of frustration while using these. A part of me feels that this could have easily been avoiding by reversing the actions on these buttons: long pressing for playlist navigation and tapping for volume. It would probably make it more difficult to trigger an accidental navigation, and for me at least accidentally raising or lowering the volume would be less consequential.The other issue I have encountered, though less often than the issues with the buttons, has been from time to time after a night of charging, I'll turn the headset on and play a track, and after a few seconds, the headset will turn itself off again. I have times when this would repeat for two or three attempts, and then everything would be fine after that. Again, this is does not happen all the time, and when it has happened, it seemed to be following a full night of charging.Still, given the flaws, which are minor, I am very impressed with the Elysiums. It's a brand I was formerly unfamiliar with, and now very happy to know. I will be hopeful for a product line refresh that will, with luck, correct the issues I have encountered.

A great value for the money. TES but not as high a sound quality as the one it replaced. It does charge quickly & run for a long time. It is a good design that makes use of materials and function very well. It is not bad sound, JUST A LITTLE WEAK ON BASE. In all fairness though, it is an on ear variety, and as such, will never tie full over the ears units. I liked the handy case and that all connections are on the same side. I also liked the fact that the unit can be used as a wired headphone when discharged. You are never dead in the water. It pairs quickly and remembers the last few matches making it efficient to use. I use I on several computers and a TV with no problems. It matches up to my ZTE phone very well and quickly. Overall it meets my needs and budget really well. I was just spoiled by my old set and though that unit is still available, it has doubled in price, SO I DOUBLT I WILL FIND A BETTER UNIT FOR THE MONEY !

In short: they were OK. I returned them because I wanted something better.* Build quality looks good.* The Bluetooth kept disconnecting, and I had to re-pair them at least once a day to get them to stream the music properly.* When they streamed smoothly, the range was pretty good - I could walk around the house with the transmitting device in the charger.Since I was within return period, I decided to return them. The re-pairing became a nuisance (not sure if it was just the unit I got, or all of them), and I really wanted some active noise cancelling. The earmuffs did not cover my ears properly, so outside noise was a problem when biking.

Power ON/OFF button is a hit or miss. When paired (on my laptop or mobile phone) sound is okay but I noticed some skips/interference from time to time. When I put my hand near or on the right cup where the controls are, I noticed that sound cuts off more often than not.Overall, while I like it's packaging, contents and headphone design, that's where it stops. Sadly, performance is somewhat poor and unreliable. I'll return/exchange it if I could but I had this reshipped here in the Philippines and it'll be costly to return it to the US.

I give it 5 star review because the sound quality of this headphone is impressive. Bass is rich and very powerful. The volume can also get very loud if you want it to . And it can be fold down to a portable size, they fit very conveniently into the potable package. I can walk about 30 feet away from from my phone and still able to listen to my music. And it got the whole accessories like audio cable and even Airline adapter. I really like it.

I bought them as they are advertised as active noise canceling headphones. These are not active noise canceling headphones - it is a case of misleading advertising.

I am in love with these!! They are plush enough for personal use, although have wore them for at a max of 8 hours and my ears got a bit sore but they are loosened up enough now to were that isn't happening anymore. The sound on these (through bluetooth) is amazing, you cannot get this quality through regular ear buds. I also love that these are small enough that you do not look like an as#hole wearing them around. Side note, I do not like the case, it is the color and shape of a beige bra and doesn't look very attractive. Regardless of that I would buy these for anyone looking for nice over the ear headphones.(Listening to Mars Volta on them right now, their music is very instrumental and I can hear every note.)

It started out ok but it started to fall apart within a week of purchase . The stitching is cheap and the sound at first was great but then the left side started to give out :(
