Does 1 job better than anything else!
I purchased this wanting to believe it was all it said it was and more. I had some shoes that have gotten wet and of course that wet shoe odor has consumed them.after 3 days of treatment I concluded those shoes were beyond repair and tossed them as I do monthly. I'm in the pool business and wet shoes is one of my job hazards along with fairly descent poolside views. Anyway,I've used them on a new pair that got wet for the first time and they dried and smelled like new mikes again after using this product the day they got wet 2 days in a row and still no odor from my shoes after a 30min treatment immediately after removing them. I believe this product will save me 100-150 a month in show losses so I give it 3 stars not 5 because it promised to remove odor from previously odorous shoes which it did not and will not l. I'm yet to find a solution to that problem. That problem will it exist however due to this product so maybe I short changed the star rating but it only did 50% of what they claimed. Hope this helps someone!

I have been using the shoe sanitizer for about two weeks now. It's easy to use and keep my shoes free of bacteria.

I would totally recommend. I received this product at a discounted price ...
I don't have any issues with my feet except certain dress shoes starts to smell after I've worn them. I used this to help with that issue. After using them once on the 30 minute setting there was no smell from the shoes anymore. I use these at the end of each day I wear the offending shoes. It really helps. I would totally recommend. I received this product at a discounted price for an honest review.

Good buy that does the job
I bought this because of the price. It does the job and quickly, too. I caught something from a spa and could not get rid of it, so it had to be the shoes re-infecting me. This did the job after the first treatment. Here is what to know about this product:~ The devices that fit into your shoes will not work unless they are somewhat compressed, which happened when they are inserted into the shoes. For shoes without heels, there are straps that comes with it to compress the device. This is a safety feature because the light is strong and could hurt your eyes.~ The devices also come with bags that must be put over the shoes to keep out light. This is also a safety feature, and the devices will not work if outside light comes in.I have had no trouble with the set up: it is fast and simple. I have not tried the straps for shoes without heels. It took me awhile to figure out the on/off buttons. You must touch both at the same time, they are the newer touch sensitive, not press, kind. Depending on the number of times or length you touch them, you will get a 15, 30, 45, and 60 minute setting. After each use the devices must be allowed to cool for at least 15 minutes. They are very bright lights and do get warm, as do the shoes, but this is not a problem.I used a 30 minute setting for the first time. Then before wearing them, I used a 15 minute--just to be sure. As it will take awhile for my feet to clear up after being re-infected, I use the device for 15 minutes after wearing the shoes. In 3 days my toes are 90% clear after being itchy, painful, swollen, and red. I do wash them twice a day and put on ointment and socks, but that wasn't working well before I got this device.I do not know how long the bulbs will last or where replacements might be found if or when they eventually burn out.

Problematic design and functional issues
I received this product at a discount in exchange for an honest review.I tried this product in multiple different pairs of shoes and had quite a few issues with it. In order for the unit to work, it must be compressed. This means if you put it in a shoe with a smaller toe box, such as a closed toe heel, the device will stretch out your shoes. The front portion is rather large and you squeeze the back portion into the heel to compress it. When tested on my heels, it heated up significantly, but it did not remove the odor. It was slightly reduced in the toe box and had no effect on any other portion of the shoe. When tested on sneakers, it did not stretch the shoe as much, but once again it only deodorized the toe box.The device claims to have a safety feature that requires the device to be in darkness to turn on, but I managed to accidentally turn it on in broad daylight with no shoe bag on it. I also had some issues with the power adapter sparking and tripping my circuits.I believe in the concept, but I think the design of the device needs some reworking.
