Crumpled City Map-Tokyo Map – January 1, 2011

I bought and gave to friends who are moving to Tokyo and they all liked them. It is light and convenient and is if you don't expect for perfection as this is a handkerchief.

can't i give less than one star? this is one of the most stupidly designed maps i have seen. it is huge, unwieldy, and provides a bare minimum of information. the color scheme is trendy chic minimal - it looks cool but is minimally useful. and, incomprehensibly, it is printed on only one side! so frame it or wear it, but don't rely on it to find your way around Tokyo. despite the potentially superior material, crumple gimmick and little pouch, it is not worth the space it would take up in your backpack (really, an extra pair of socks will be more useful.)

Was impressed with the material and easy storage pouch. However, it is only for Central Tokyo. Many of the sites we will be visiting are truly "off the map." Don't understand why only printed on one side - could have put the REST of the information there! Totally not worth it.

This whole product line is like buying pre-ripped new jeans for $200, but somehow sadder.
