SO I saw these and I thought they would make an amazing Christmas gift for my parents. Their entire house is essentially rooster themed and I figured these coasters would go well. Well I read the listing as coaster and I did not read the size anywhere and when they arrived I was shocked but very pleased that these are not actually coasters so much as trivets. They are the size of a dinner plate. The art is beautiful. Each one a different rooster or chicken. I love that Claire Weeks names her roosters and all are signed by the artist as well. They are painted beautifully like watercolors. The colors are vibrant and deep and striking.I very much enjoy the artwork of the talented Claire Weeks and my parents were blown away with these beautiful trivets. They are melamine with a thick cork backing so you can place your warm bowls on them but I would not recommend placing a pan directly from a 400 degree oven on them as they are heat resistant to 165 degrees. The top is smooth and very easy to wipe clean if you were to spill anything on them. My parents prefer to have them hanging on the wall though. They are truly a work of art. I would gladly purchase these or similar items again.I purchased this product at a discounted price in exchange for an honest and unbiased review. I normally would not buy anything but plain coasters but my girlfriend LOVES chickens. So I figured.. oh why not...I was pleasantly surprised when I opened these, the art looks more vivid in person than in the photos. I've only used one of them but they feel well made and it isn't showing water spots.I did receive these at a discount in exchange for writing an honest review.

BEAUTIFUL sturdy little coasters! These were worth every dime IMO. Such gorgeous little things to help perk up the table decor. They are a real conversation piece.I did get a little bit of a discount on this to leave my honest review. I would of bought them anyways.
