Recently, I've been building out my 2-car garage as a wood shop. I spend a lot of time out there and have been streaming my entertainment to an old laptop. That was getting cumbersome. Luckily, Black Friday came along at a good time - I upgraded to a 32" TV! Now... where to put it? Wall space is at a premium in my new shop. Lots of cabinets, etc. Table-top space is even more important, so it couldn't go there. Then it donned on me - bolt that sucker to the ceiling!After looking at just about every VESA-compatible ceiling mount that Amazon offers (within a reasonable price range), I decided to purchase this Cheetah. Boy, am I glad I did. I read a *ton* of horror stories about other mounts bending, breaking, warping, or being so poorly constructed that the user was hesitant to even install them. I wish I could give credit to the reviewer who mentioned that he went for a Cheetah mount, but I lost that review in the sea of others. So I'll say an anonymous "Thank You" to the person who helped me get to here.This mount is undeniably sturdy. The poles, plate, and mounting bracket are thick and well-made. The welds look great. The hardware that attaches everything is good quality, and the instructions that come with it are easy enough for pretty much anyone to understand. They even include a little plastic level bubble, a little keychain LED flashlight, and a nice HDMI cable. The installation was easy and I have no doubt that it will hold my new 32" TV securely for years to come. I really can't think of anything bad to say about this product, but just to show that I'm being fair - here are a couple of places I think Cheetah could make it even better:1) Better labeling of the hardware bags. It wasn't immediately obvious which pieces corresponded with which numbers in the instructions. It didn't take long to figure that out, but it might have saved me 5 minutes to have labeled bags.2) Some way to shorten the pole length. I get that this is intended to accommodate 32" - 65" TVs, but when using the low end of that range it drops the TV much lower than I like. Easily modified if you have the patience, the tools and the skills, but maybe more people would like the product more if it was easier to do.3) some sort of detent at perpendicular. the adjustability is nice, but having a positive stop at 90 degrees would make leveling much easier in many situations without sacrificing the ability to fine-tune to the user's needs.Those are minimal issues with an otherwise very fine product. 5 stars, well deserved.

We bought an old house built in 1940's. Our living room is rectangle shape so it has been very difficult to arrange all my furniture to see the tv without a glare from the 8ft window. I was also very worried about screwing it to wall studs that can't be seen without taking down sheet rock. We choose to put it in the ceiling and it was so easy to install. We decided where we wanted to put it keeping in mind that since we did corner installation we had to leave enough room on each size in case we wanted to upsize tv's without moving stand. After we figured where we wanted it we measured from each wall how far out it was. Went to attic cut the 1 ³/4 hole in ceiling dropped the pole down, leveled it up and screwed it to the roof truss. I had to purchase a "beauty ring" to glue to ceiling because the pole is a hair bigger than 1 ¹/² so we had to cut the hole the next size up and I wanted a ring to cover that there was a little space open I put that in and then put together the bottom assembly. This mount comes with extra screws of different sizes so any tv can be screwed to it. This new mount is SOO universal it would almost fit any tv.I would HIGHLY RECOMMENDED this mount. Its VERY STURDY and I feel confident that bring bolted to trusses it will never come down. For this to be a cheaper stand than others I was worried about quality but it's made better than most other stands. It can also be wall mounted, or ceiling mounted or like me be recessed in ceiling. All my friends and family compliment hour good/cool it looks coming out of ceiling. Also you can.hire an electrician to run your wiring up wall and down pole so there are no wires visible. It looks great. You will benefit from drill and hole saw blade for recessed mounting.

Had an older Samsung 55" on a swivel base and wanted to upgrade to a 65" but still wanted it to swivel.My television sits almost 6 feet up and is faces into the living room but can be swiveled towards the dining room.After looking for a swiveling support stand nothing seemed to fit the area and didn't sound secure from some of the reviews.This TV mount came quickly and was packed very well and has enough hardware to get it mounted to your set. The drop tubes have quite a number of adjustments out to 50" and the mounting bracket is wide for good support and plenty of options for mounting. It is designed to be installed to a roof trust and extend down through the ceiling through a hole you cut in the sheetrock. I have a vaulted ceiling and a small section of wall that comes down from the two different roof sections. So I turned the mounting bracket 90 degrees painted it white and mounted it flat up against the wall section and made a nylon washer for the swivel plate to sit on so it wasn't just metal to metal. The TV brackets allow for a number of adjustments to get the height right as necessary for your area and is secure. Overall this was better than expected and the price was well worth the money ($45), better than hundreds of dollars for other mounts. BONUS 15 foot HDMI cable was a nice surprise which I ended up using and there was still another bonus gift of a small LED light for my key ring. Stuff like that make you feel like they want your business. How much is a 15 ft. HDMI cable?

En la foto parece mas frágil, es muy robusto. El soporte , en la parte baja puede girar 360 º, con la televisión montada, esto para mi es super practico, ya que es para dos estancias, depende de donde este la giro y luego abate 90º, pudiendo dejarlo fijo o móvil. Yo lo utilizo para subir la tv al techo. Lo único , la parrilla esa que trae para soportar el monitor es grande ... si montas una tele pequeña se puede ver esa chapa por detrás. Yo he montado una 65" .

Avendo necessità di posizionare una tv non su di una mensola (troppo peso con la staffa d'appoggio, nell'ordine dei 16 kg...) e non potendo staffare direttamente dietro in quanto muro ricoperto da mattoncini in gesso (fragili) né al soffitto (cartongesso) della taverna, ho optato per questa staffa (impostabile anche a muro comunque) e devo dire che sono rimasto più che soddisfatto!Il materiale è perfetto, di ottima fattura e curato nei particolari. Lo staffaggio al muro con i tasselli in dotazione è praticamente perfetto fino addirittura i 70 kg...perciò anche per un 65"...nel mio caso un 32 e nessun problema!Ho trovato davvero facile sia l'assemblaggio che il montaggio, messo tutto in bolla e calcolata l'altezza dal soffitto...il gioco è fatto e la TV pronta!Lo consiglio perché ha davvero tante opzioni di fissaggio, inclinazioni ed anche altezze in quanto son presenti fori distanziati 50 mm l'uno dall'altro che permetto una vasta regolazione in altezza.Il kit di fissaggio delle staffe alla TV (VESA) comprende 3 tipologie di viti (vari diametri) e nelle TV più di marca (la mia per esempio Philips) non è stato un problema.Le foto sono il mio lavoro terminato! Direi ottimo considerato muro in gasbeton, soffitto in cartongesso, retro TV in mattoncini in gesso e mensola che supporta max 15 kg contro i 16 della TV...

Die Halterung ist für mein 49 Zoll Fernseher. Entgegen der ursprünglichen Beschreibung kann die Halterung auch an einer senkrechten Fläche (und nicht nur an einer maximal 15% geneigten Fläche) angebracht werden.Der Satz ist wirklich sehr komplett, mehr als genug Schrauben und Dübel sind beigefügt, genau wie ein Inbusschlüssel. Alles passt einwandfrei aneinander und ist äußerst stabil. Entgegen der Beschreibung kann man den Fernseher auch um 360 Grad drehen so denn die Kabel lang genug sind. Außerdem war ein etwa 3m langes, hochwertiges HDMI-Kabel dabei was eine angenehme Überraschung war.Die Konstruktion erlaubt auch die Montage durch eine einzelne Person da der Fernseher einfach oben mit Haken eingehängt wird, dann kann man in aller Ruhe die untere Befestigung einstellen.Ein sehr gutes Produkt, kann ich bedenkenlos weiter empfehlen.

Would have given it 5 stars but a few small issues. A few things missing in the box, namely spacers, which I didn't require in the end. But would have been disappointed if I did. In the instructions was told to make a 10mm pilot hole to attach to roof beam but this was too big. But I made another set of holes using a 6mm drill bit which was perfect. The bolts to attach the tv to the bracket were not long enough for my 42" plasma so therfore couldn't attach my tv to the bracket. Was going to email cheetah mounts but remembered I had kept the unused bolts from a previous bought bracket and used them as I didn't want to wait any longer. I'm sure cheetah mounts would have sent me replacement bolts.Received a long hdmi cable and mini torch free two. Really like the hdmi cable.All in all very pleased and would recommend them to anyone. I'm looking at cheetah mounts for the shelves for my dvd, blu ray etc. After posting the above review I was contacted by the company who supplied the product. They addressed all the issues I had highlighted. I didn't expect them too but was pleasantly surprised that they did, because this would avoid any problems for future customers. For my inconvenience they also gave me a £10 refund. They have changed the drill bit size in the manual and are addressing the missing spacers issue. Overall I am very impressed that they would read the reviews and take on the advice given. Also I was informed that the mount has a lifetime guarantee too, so it's a no brainer as to recommend them.
