Probably won't last forever, but...
In my experience these cheapies eventually separate just below the pin connectors. I might try a little silicone sealant to the junctures. However, these are very cheap and plentiful, they work on our iPods and iPads 1 and 2, and they are very, very cheerful.

but if you run through chargers like most people do anyways then they are okay
charges slow, they burn out quick. but if you run through chargers like most people do anyways then they are okay. one didnt work.

It has been awhile since I bought these cords. So far, all the cords are still working. I would order from this vendor again.

The 3 stars is for the price and the length. It does not want to stay plugged in to my iPad. My reason for purchasing is this; I'm hoping these ten charger cables will last longer than one Apple Charger. Time will tell, and so will I. Update: 4 hours later. Ha ha. The 1st cable I tried does not work. So, DONT BUY THESE.

Do not order. You will not receive what is pictured. What arrived is one cable and two power adapters. The cable does not fit an iphone or ipad.
