Warhammer 40,000 Paint Set

I bought this set for my Grandson who just turned 13. He loved it! He assembled and painted the figures and they turned out really nice..He wants more for Christmas.

good value to get your paint collection started, but the directions were pretty lack-luster and the models were all mostly snap-fit. This will get you started if you have no other means.

I got this kit because I am a beginner at Warhammer 40k. It is a great kit. I recommend this to ant beginner.

This is a great set for beginers easy build easy to paint. Might need to bye a paint set though for detaled areas I picked up a set from walmart. Overall pleasd with product and it shiped pretty fast.

Painting guide was confusing. refered to paints that were not included in set. Other than that the mini's were good and the instructions showed very well what too do.

As mentioned by others, the instructions are old. Otherwise, not a bad deal. Paints usually run $3-$4 so you're basically getting a brush and some minis to practice on for free. For what it is it is not bad.

don't let 40k models frighten you with the complexity, assembly, and painting. Instead, buy some codexes (not omnibuses but codexes) and this set that way you can slowly learn to paint and get a handle on the characters at the same time, if you decide that you like this THAN you'll at least have a foothold on this phenomenon. But more importantly have fun visit a gamesworkshop sometime watch a fight talk to the guys take a painting class if you'd like to learn more techniques, or you know, just veg out and learn by watching, its alot more fun than you think, Good Luck out there.

Nice kit and figures. Included are instructions to paint these figures. Step 8 shows some detail painted with White Scar. WAIT! White Scar is not included:\ Suppose I could use another color, but it seems weird to sell a kit with paint instructions and leave the final color out of the kit.
