These worked great on a homemade project to build a 3D dog replica.

Edgelec wires are real copper, I got a competitor's jumper wire set and the wires were magnetic! Must have been coper plated steel. They had high resistance. It took me too long to figure this out.

I break them apart and cut some of them to solder the wire. The wire is copper so it solders well, unlike some with aluminum or steel wire.The ends don't look or feel so great but they the job... I would not recommend for heavier duty use on a breadboard, but for my occasional use they're alright. I plan to throw them away as they get damaged.

These have worked perfectly for me, there's a ton of them and they've been great for messing around with electronics. Go perfectly into a breadboard, and if you want you can cut it in half and solder one end to the end of a wire to make it compatible with a breadboard too.
