If you have a S7 edge or S6 it will not charge your phones in fact it has trouble keeping up with 5 Iphone .. Horrible product absolutely cannot recommend

Story behind buying this powerbank is that It's very useful especially in emergency situations where our battery is dying and we are stranded somewhere. Why I mentioned stranded is some of my friends went to smokies few months ago and they lost their way while hiking, as the winter already started it became dark pretty soon, most of phones neither did have signal nor charging , and finally in those hiking trails even though they managed to find a signal bar, the guy who is at the parking waiting for them did not have juice in his phone. That must have been some horrible experience. Since then they have been carrying not one, 2 powerbanks in their backpack or bags. Point is we never know what might happen and it's better to be prepared.This is a portable charging pack for your electronic devices. It comes with a cable to charge android phones or electronics but not iphone. You can use your iphone charging cable to charge your iphone with this.It took a lot of time to get fully charged like almost 5 hrs and it does not have any on/off switch.It's so compact that you can carry any where you go. After my teenager started using phone, it would be always out of charge by end of the school day. So I had to get one for him. This is one good compact, sleek and light weight battery pack for carrying anywhere.First of all it didnt come with any instruction , well its not a must and required for me but if someone is buying it for the 1st time then its important for them to know which light will show before and after charge and how much time it will take to charge fully. Mine came 1/2 charged so I kept it to charge fully and after charging I got a blue light as indicator. It got pretty warm to hot while it was charging and it gives 1 full charge to the phone so atleast one can survive. There is no on/off switch to find out whether this is charged or not which is one drawback as there is no indicator to it. Being always in a hurry this is an important thing , but now that I know I plug it with its charging cable and set it for charging as a routine.Pros - sleek, compact and offers 1 complete charge to the connected device when its fully charged.Cons - no indicator to find if its charged or not, no instructions.The seller is very helpful and prompt in replying to my doubt and the boxed packaging is very good too. The 1 extra star is exclusively for the seller and thoughtful packaging it came in.I will continue to use it until I get a better unit which is reasonable priced and which my teen can take care of until then this is it.UPDATE : 02/02/2016 - This battery charger takes lot of time to charge and even before it gets fully charged , it becomes very hot and after that it stops charging. When my phone was connected to it the end of my phones charging cable turned pretty warm-hot. This external battery charger works great. I have a Galaxy Note 5 and it charged it with out any issues. My daughter also used it on her iphone 5c. It's a perfect size and light in weight. It fits in my purse with out taking much space. The only thing I didn't like is that the light stays red. I thought the light would turn a different color when I was done charging.
