Monitor Audio Bronze 200 Floorstanding Speaker Black (Pair) Latest Generation

Bought from Audio Advice (beware they will not help you in event of a defect, they will shift blame to Amazon) , they boxes looked fine and packaged fine. However after unpacking and hooking up and I went to do the Audyessy calibration and when it went to the right speaker it sounded weird. I thought maybe it was my hearing but when I finished setup and put on a movie I quickly realized the speakers was barely emitting sound and sound tinny and far away. Once I moved the speaker cables to the top set of connectors (they have two sets on back) the sound became apparent. Unfortunately for a brand new product, arriving with a defect makes me worried so I just wanted to exchange the one speaker. Amazon is useless and shifts blame to the manufacturer, so I contacted Audio Advice who shifted the blame to Amazon. Apparently no one is responsible for sending merchandise that's not defective and then doing nothing to make it right except saying package it up, drive it to UPS, wait until Amazon gets off their tooshies to return it, wait for you bank to process refund, then buy them again and wait for new ones which hopefully work, to arrive. Weeks that would take all while I'm without home theatre speakers. They don't care. Customer service from both was hot garbage. Don't order from Audio Advice and make sure it's shipped and sold by Amazon if you want them to do anything about it. Amazon enables these third party sellers to send defective merchandise but not have to do anything about it. Very disappointed.
