Kauai

This book is amazing! I am visiting Kauai with my sister this spring. I bought 2 copies- one for her and me and we both love it! I was looking at several books but am so happy I decided on this one. The photography is breathtaking and the stories about the island is very well written and even divides up the book into different sections, all about different areas of Kauai. I was particularly interested in the North Shore since part of our trip includes that as well, and there is a section on this as well. I highly recommend this book whether you love photography, or need a book to put on your coffee table, or just want to learn about the island.

Book in perfect condition and I gave it as a gift to my son and wife who were married in Kauai last February.

I had previously purchased a volume of the collection (Hawaii) on a trip toOahu and I liked a lot: accurate descriptions and excellent pictures, although Iseen the advertisements on the National Geographic guide! Some photos are quiteold, very 80's, but for the editor's own admission are images collectedin the time spent in the archipelago. After having visited other islandsI wanted to complete the collection and so I chose Amazon.com.Ultimately, however, are satisfied, I miss only the volume of Maui that will buy non-I will have just visited. I suggest buying at all.

Memories of Hawaii trip. Many of these spots not as remembered but in Hawaii it rains a good share of the time and one hardly ever sees these views while traveling.

great pics and narratives. Saw it in HI so ordered it on amazon at half the price and didn't have to carry 5 of them in my suitcase

We just had to have this marvelous book dedicated to our most favorite Hawaiian island, our home away from home. We love all of the islands, but Kauai is the most natural.
