Works perfect. 2. Blade is just the right tooth per inch that I need. 3. Portable, and the wood guide plugs things are a nice touch, they work, for how long, who knows. CON: 1. Lightweight, unless you mount this to a bench, it's gonna move around on ya. 2. The saw comes off them guide rods easy, wish there was a stopper to keep that from happening. 3. Not sure where to get a replacement blade some day, but will look when that day comes. OTHER: 1. If you can mount it, or clamp in place, do that. 2. This is great for small projects, etc. no need for an expensive electric laser guided saw then you're a weekend DIY'er guy. 3. Stanley brand is always good. Makes sense since Stanley Black & Decker owns the Craftsman brand. **Q: Can this saw cut 5 1/4 baseboard and if so lying flat or standing?** A: The specs say 4 1/2" max cutting height and that is what I measured. If you go taller than that then the top ring of the blade guide will off the rod so it would be tricky. This saw did the job. It is not as rigid as a power miter saw, so don't use a lot of force or it won't be accurate.
