J&S Dental Lab 3D Night Guard for Teeth Grinding & Bruxism

This review is very simple: I implore you give J&S Dental Lab an opportunity to provide you with a Night Guard! You will not be disappointed!After researching J&S's guards, I, like many others, was skeptical about ordering such an important and custom personal item online. The savings seemed too good to be true. The process of making your own teeth impressions is super easy, and the turn around time from when I mailed them out to when I received my guard was unbelievably fast (I live in SC and had my guard within a week of mailing back my impressions). In the end, I received a product that is identical what I would have received from my dentist and I saved over $400.

This review is long over-due. I had a great experience working with J&S. They took the time to make sure my night guard fit properly. The couple of times that I needed to send the guard back for adjustments they paid for shipping and happily addressed my concerns. What started with a guard that didn't fit quite right, ended as a perfect fitting guard that is comfortable and protects my teeth. Thanks J&S for the wonderful customer service and support in making my first night guard experience a good one.

Product worked wonderfully, just what I wanted. Seller was very helpful and accomodating to work with. Would highly recommend both to someone in the market for a night guard.

I ordered this from my husband's Amazon account, but since it was for me I wanted to leave the review. I decided to purchase this night guard due to severe TMJ pain from clenching. I had pain in my teeth, jaw, and behind my eyes daily as well as trouble sleeping and trouble finding my bite and pressure/pain in my ear. I had been to a dentist who recommended a night guard for the problem but I decided to look into other options first. I tried acupuncture which did not help. I tried every OTC night guard available- no kidding. Although some did help the pain, I felt some were changing my bite and most did not fit comfortably. When I saw this night guard and the reviews, I asked my dentist if the night guard she would make would also take into account both the upper and lower teeth and she said no, it would be made from just one mold upper OR lower. Since hers was the same price after my insurance as the J&S guard, I decided to order this one. The ordering process and making the molds were easy and the turn-around time was very fast. J&S's customer service is phenomenal! I was able to order the guard for my lower arch even though the listing was for the upper arch no problem. I had my mold kit within two days of ordering and my new mouth guard was back in less than a week of sending the molds back. It is incredibly comfortable. The hard guard does seem to help much more with the clenching than the soft ones I've tried that seem to exacerbate the issue. I have combined this guard with taking kava kava at night to help relax my jaw muscles and I am now almost pain-free a few weeks later. I didn't think a custom guard would make that big of a difference compared to the over the counter guards but it has helped so much. I believe the 3D guard has helped my jaw align into a better position while I sleep because I no longer feel like I am trying to find my bite all day. I would not hesitate to recommend this guard or this company to anyone with issues from bruxism or clenching. I was worried that a night guard alone would not solve my TMJ issues but in my case, the improvement has been life changing. I plan on ordering a back-up soon so that I am never without this night guard!

My last review got cut off by an iPhone and fat fingers.I have severe TMD with my left TMJ being near the point of replacement. As such, my face appears asymmetrical as my right masseter and pteroid muscles protrude far out, pulling my jaw to the right (which makes my whole face asymmetrical - I'm Nysha's BF BTW. We share a Amazon prime account).Now, I was apprehensive to buy a guard due to the fact that the TMD damage was so severe (broke 7 teeth all on the right side in 4 months from nighttime bruxism).So J&S decided to provide me with a free 3D guard since they couldn't guarantee that it would work.Well, it is now day 3 wearing the guard, I showed my dentist who was thoroughly impressed (and won't be charging my $475 for a simple acrylic night guard) and I can tell you from the first second I put it on, it straightened my jaw out. So much so, that you can barely tell I have severe TMJ issues. I feel like wearing it all day, as it takes all the bite force from my right side (where I grind and break teeth) and shifts everything forward and to the left. So not only does it straighten my bite, it makes the pain in my right TMJ virtually disappear.If anyone has severe enough TMD issues (broken teeth, clicking, popping, locking jaw, severe tinnitus, severe pain in either TMJs, then I highly HIGHLY suggest this guard. I honestly couldn't be happier and don't want to take it off, simply due to the fact that it quite obviously straightens my face AND takes the pressure and pain from my TMJ areas on both sides.These guys are amazing and I only wish I bought the guard outright, as I now feel indebted to them.
