Essential repair material for your toolbox.
I love this stuff. Hardens like a rock. Allows me to fix pot metal chairs and weathervanes without brazing. Easy to apply and mold to shape. Sets up in an hour, but soft and pliable to work with. Not a race to the finish, like some materials. Epoxy putty, gorilla glue, and some duct tape goes a long way for some red green fixes without too much skill, knowledge, or danger (like using a welder). Recommend.

I thought this would not work...it did!
Great adhesion IN THE WATER. Works wonderfully for patching a step on a swimming pool (using a piece of PVC to add strength.

Works underwater
This stuff did work to patch a small underwater tear in our above pool liner(Intex). It worked well for awhile, but it did eventually start to work off though and come loose slightly where water would slowly leak out again. We do have lots of kids that come over and get pretty crazy in the pool though, so I think maybe if I patched it from both sides of the liner it may have held. I only applied it on the inside underwater and thatโs why maybe little feet kept hitting it and loosing it. I would give it another shot and spend more time next time patching on both sides and I think that might have done the trick. Summer is almost over though so this will be a task for next year when thereโs no water in it.

Works well
I have used it in two application-one on hot tub repair for one of the jets where there was a leak at one of the PVC fittings and another on the heat exchange manifold on my diesel engine on the boat. Not sure if this is a permanent or temp size, but solved the immediate problem.

Works perfectly. Excellent product
Calvala was a lifesaver for our in ground pool. So sorry to see it's no longer available. We purchased a pool home and discovered the pool had a leak. It was pretty easy to figure where leak was and this product fixed it in 20 minutes. From the time I started cleaning the area until the product was cured. We have used it in two other areas and just love its performance. We still have one tube left. Hopefully it will come back in stock soon. Would make an awesome Christmas present for all our guy friends.

Not not waterproof
Purchase this anticipating it would be waterproof as are the other sticks I have purchased from Pinch-A-Penny into the past. This is definitely not waterproof and immediately leaked. Maybe for other applications it would be fine but not for what I needed

did not stick to the item
I don't know how this is supposed to seal a leak if it won't adhere...by suction, maybe, but is it drillable, sandable? No... The instructions are not clear how to mix it....They sent two nice sized sticks of this product, both were identical with two separate colors (green/grey) within each stick, so I assume the two colors are the two separate puddies that they tell you to knead together...??? (or was it the two separate sticks that need to be mixed together??) I will try the latter, but I suspect I'll get the same result. Basically, sitting in the cool (not cold or damp) night air the mixed product stayed very porous, did not harden, nor adhere at all... Don't be like me, test it right away, don't wait too long, like I did...my bad, my loss.....
