Proposition 65 is a VERY poorly written law that allows law firms to go after anyone & everyone on a "bounty" system for the state. They know that its too expensive for small businesses like ours to defend ourselves, and that we will settle. Our only defense is to put these silly warnings on everything we sell so that we don't get sued. And no, we are not even in California, Rani is a Texas based company, but the way the law is written, they can go after everyone. I got dragged into a California court 2 years ago, holding my ground that I was not selling anything that fell into this law, you know that the law firm that had pursued me for many years did not even show up?
