After the first time I used them, they now have snags and pulls all over the gloves. Not really impressed with that, makes me wonder how long they will last before they are ready to be thrown out. Simply horrible. Catches on all styling tools and all sorts of threads gets pulled and caught in bristles. WENT BACK. Don't waste your money.

This was great. I liked how well these gloves protected my hands while using my curling wand. :)

Do Not Waste Your Money. These Purple Thermal Gloves are totally unusable for women of color who have chosen to go natural.These gloves caught and snagged on my 4A/4C natural hair. I am highly upset!

I am seriously impressed with these heat resistant styling gloves. They feel a tiny bit scratchy when you put them on but they fit very well. I was a little worried how well they could actually work since you can see a little skin through them, kind of a thicker mesh type material but I didn't need to worry. The work great and do exactly what they are supposed to. As you can see in one of my photos, I have my fingers placed on the bottom ceramic plate of my straightening iron (you can see that the red light is on). Once I got up the nerve, I placed my hand there for a full 15 seconds. At the 15 second mark is when my fingers start to get hot. Not so much that they felt like they were burning though. Probably not the smartest or safest thing to do but I really wanted to see how much heat this would protect my fingers and hands from. The material didn't melt or get misshapen. I am happy to know that I will not be getting burned while doing my hair from now on. Now if I just had something like this to cover my forehead, haha! Most people who have used a curling iron on bangs know exactly what I'm talking about. Anyways, I am relieved to have these gloves and so glad I was able to get them for free in exchange for my honest review.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered this heat protectant gloves. It says it protects your hands from heat styling tools. When the gloves came, I tried it on to make sure it would fit, and it fit perfectly. It's not very thick (which is nice) and it does exactly what it says, protects your hands from heat. It's better to use as a touch up, as you can start to feel the heat but it doesn't burn. It comes with two gloves but you can use one or both, it's up to you. The gloves look like an exfoliating bath glove and is stiff and scratchy but it doesn't affect the way it feels when you're wearing them. They also have a hook so you can hang the gloves when you're not using them, which is really nice. They fit all hand types, small or large. I received this product at a discount. This is my honest opinion.

DON'T be fooled!!! These gloves are advertised as heat resistant but they seem to be more related to the loofah (scrubbing/exfoliating) gloves I've seen in stores. They are a fairly open weave so heat goes right through. VERY disappointed since I feel the heat immediately. I even tried layering one glove over the other and that still didn't work. So these gloves are going into the shower for what they seem to be for.
