Mighty Midget
An amazing piece of gear. Great sound for an item so small. Only negative is the off/on button - goes through two or three phases before turning off; but one will get used to that I guess. Battery life more than adequate.

Travel Buddy!
Great little speaker to take while traveling. We took a month vacation to Hawaii and was able to connect to my smartphone everywhere we went. Light enough to carry in my backpack. Sound is decent, it's not a Bose.

Very adequate performance for such a basic, small mono BT speaker,.. and at a great price
I own several bluetooth speakers. Most of bigger then the TSST. The larger ones I own are able to pack in a larger speaker, or two for stereo. They also produce deeper Bass. The TSST is a very small, portable unit. I was very impressed of it loudness and crispness of sound out of such a small package. If you have an equalizer function on your audio output device (or use iTunes) do experiment with different settings and you may find as I did that you can enhance the sound a i out of this small bluetooth speaker. It won't rock the room, but, it does allow for enough volume to hear music or voice quite clearly. For Skype, Facetime and other functions where you wish to avoid the tinny sound of your laptop, the TSST is a huge improvement in this area. For voice alone, I found it very adequate for good, clear speaking on videos, audiobooks and other media.I also tried putting the speaker in an open cabinet in our kitchen to simulate what a speaker enclosure does to enhance fullness of sound. Try it, as I discovered the audio seemed a bit deeper with the speaker tucked to the back of my open cabinet. It worked! I suppose any box of srots might help as well.Pairing seemed easy and foolproof. on my Macbook Pro and desktop. You'll get a visible indication on this units LEDS as well as an audio alert when it pairs as well s when it turns on or off.Range was so-so for me compared to other bluetooth speakers I own, but, it functioned very well with no drop outs about two rooms away in my house. Certainly adequate for most applications. Bluetooth range really comes down to both the sending device (the TSST in this case) and how well and sensitive your receiving device is as well. It's always about the "combo" in use.All volume control is handled by the receiving device as the TSST offers no volume control. As for the very reasonable price of under $30 for this speaker, and decent, clear (and if needed, ...loud) audio, I can't really find faults with it nor should I compare this to a $150 BT speaker with all of the bells and whistles. For about $30, this -is- a best buy. That said, I'd probably not use the TSST for 100% of the time for my audio applications such as music, but, I would definitely consider this as a primary speaker for travel. Given its low price, if it were damaged or lost, I'd not be as upset as if I brought along my larger, more expensive unit. For use on my my laptop for Facetime or Skype with my Grandkids and family, or listening to human speech,..this speaker seems perfectly suited for that.I've also used the TSST for several instructional online videos for photo editing and the TSST audio was clear and crisp for human speech. It was really easy to hear the person talking and even at lower volume levels.A very nice speaker for its very small size and capabilities given its small profile,..and at a very moderate cost. For the open road and travel, beach...(even in the car if you don't have built-in bluetooth there!) the TFFT deserves a full five stars.

Take anywhere your music goes
TSST TS006BA S6 Ultra-Portable and powerful Bluetooth Wireless 2-way Stereo Speaker, GrayI always travel with music. Sometimes, it’s fun to share it with others, and that’s where this little beauty comes in handy. About the size of a cell-phone, this two way stereo speaker has excellent mid-range sound.Much of what I listen to is in this range, I’m not into booming base, but it’s nice if you can get it. What I get is portability, it works with my phone, mp3 player and Kindle Fire plugged in. I couldn’t get it to synch with the BlueTooth V2.1+ EDR. It wouldn’t even register on the device that it was available for synching. The unit has a plug in micro-port for recharging and a round port that connects with my unit. This speaker comes with a USB charging wire (no plug head which are easy to come by anymore.)There is a blinking light to let you know it’s on but it’s behind the speaker screen invisible until it’s in use.The handsome leatherette case has a magnetic band that helps keep the case closed and protect the speaker when not in use, and it also folds into a handy triangle –you’ll know you have it right when the flap magnetically sticks to itself and stands on its own. One button touch for on and off. When it powers on and off you’ll hear the Bluetooth sound.Packs a lot of sound for something so little and the clarity was amazingly clear, no buzzing. My husband listens to a lot of classical music and at the correct volume, it sounds like they’re in the same room with us. I’ve paid considerably more for equal sounding equipment. For the quality you get, you just can’t beat the price of this speaker. The battery lasts up to 10 hours between charges and you can charge from anything with a USB (computer, solar, outlet) Definitely a must have for all those impromptu summer gatherings coming up.
