Great stuff
We tend to hike, camp, and generally get into remote places as well as travel extensively. Picked these up a few years ago after seeing on "Shark Tank" just as something to try out. We have a 12 lb terrier (Chiorkie) an in a pinch works really well, but couldn't find them locally and kind of slipped my mind until I ran across them again on Amazon and picked up the Bacon ones, worked out well, just purchased the peanut butter ones (which Snickers prefers) and will stock up while I can get my hands on them. How they work for a larger dog I couldn't say. But a half bar in the a.m. and 1/2 bar in the pm (broken up) seems to works for a 12 lb small dog. we have been stuck in cabins eating freeze dried meals and in all honesty I think the dog enjoyed her meal better than we did.Well packaged, takes up minimum space and weight is negligible. Shelf life is a bit more than a year so not terrible, but face it if they're hungry, it'll get eaten.Worth keeping a few in the dog (go) bag, and trunk pack if gone for a few days, and get stuck. Great in a pinch.Better in weight and volume to haul vs. "vacuum packed" dog food.Worth the 5 stars

My dogs love these and they are great for easy travel and getting a picky dog to eat more
These are great for an easy way to travel with your dog or go on a day trip and take along food. The dogs think they are treats and they eat them with the enthusiasm of them being treats, but they get a meal that you can trust. I buy them and keep them on hand just in case I need them. I also used them when one of my dogs was ill and was being picky with food, even turning her nose up at roasted or boiled chicken. She ate these and I knew at least she had something good to allow her to take medications. I was grateful to be able to quickly order them from Amazon when needed. I would recommend you checking how many you need for your dog's size. If you have a small dog you might not even need a whole one, yet a large dog would need several to equal a full meal. I have only bought the peanut butter and those were a hit. Great convenience.

Yeah no!!!
Ordered a pack of 6... opened the first one, seemed great... a week later opened another one and it seemed to have some kind of mold, bugs baked into it... absolutely horrified

My dog LOVES these!
My dog LOVES these! While a little pricey, they are the perfect solution for when I go out of town. My dog stays with my parents, and she won't eat while she's there. Treats, yes. The occasional piece of cheese, or meat item given to her by hand, yes. (She's spoiled.) She will not eat her regular food; but she will eat these. She's about 75lbs and my mom will feed her two a day, given by hand so she thinks they're a treat. (She alternates between these and the bacon flavor.) Along with some all natural, nutrient-rich treats, she stays healthy and doesn't loose any weight while I'm away. The other advantage is that it makes her waste bulky, so it makes cleaning my mom's yard very easy.

Perfect for Backpacking
I bought these specifically to take on a 3 day backpacking trip with my dog. She loved them and I loved they were lightweight, easy to pack, and an actual meal replacement. I still did bring some of her regular dog food, but since that is bulkier and weighs more I wanted another option to supplement that and add more calories without bringing extra food. Will definitely use these for all my backpacking trips. They were a big hit!

she loves them
I got them for my picky old Golden. She eats them and thinks she is getting a treat. Too expensive for use as daily meals but when I cant get her to eat anything else she will munch on these.
