He is into steampunk, and zippos. This fit the bill on both. Going to use it as a table lighter in the living room. I had purchased this back in October, and he was talking today about getting a table lighter. Had to give it to him early so he wouldn't purchase something. He loved it! So far works as it should.

I really like this lighter; size and weight are nice and solid, with a good heft that feels like quality. I love the tactile feel of the leather wrap. My only complaint is that I didn't know that the clockwork was decorative only. I didn't think it would tic and keep time or whatever, but I thought it would be semi-functional. It's silly to be disappointed about it, since I really should have known based on the price. However, silly as it is, I was disappointed. It's not worth taking off a star on an otherwise worthy item, but I was compelled to put it in the review, just in case it helps keep someone else from a similar disappointment.

Looks awesome and fills like any other zippy. Really hate that I quit smoking because I can't use it anymore. I guess I'll take up heroine so I can freebase with it and give it some love again. J/k Great for any zippy collector (yours truly) with a very unique design in the perfectly fit barrel that covers the wick. For whatever reason I've had a bit of trouble if the wind is too bad or the fan is too high for the flint to catch the fume needed to light the wick (so much for windproof) but a quick cover with your hand and you're off to the races.

My wife has loved this more than any other gift I’ve ever given her. I’ve lost count of how many times she’s been approached to ask where she found this lighter, and I completely melt every time because I get to see her eyes light up with a smile, as she replies sweetly “it was a gift, my favorite gift actually”. Super solid purchase if you’re looking for something to surprise the love of your life and make them smile.

Got this for a friend, they seem pretty satisfied with it. Apparently not good for cigars. Other than that it’s a fantastic lighter.
