I can't fault it. It makes a good cup of coffee every time. I've even had passable cups from coffee beans that tasted naff through other drippers. It cleans easily, is well put together and functions exactly as you'd hope. I was going to buy an automatic pour over machine but I can't justify it when this makes coffee better than most coffee shops. If this ever breaks I'll be buying another without hesitation.

This is such a great idea and a massive innovation compared to standard V60 that comes with so many unnecessary issues (which become obvious once you use this slightly different innovation). With this you get all the benefits of immersion (French press), but without all the downsides, like no washing up ground coffee from the press and especially no "dust" in the coffee. At the same time, you get all the controls of a V60 drip, but not the downsides of a filter machine!

Excellent device. I was deciding for a long time whether to get this since I have origami and v60, after tried it, this is much easier way to brew a quick and delicious coffee!

When I first opened the box and followed the instructions to ensure the switch was in the “up” position, I noticed it felt loose and not properly in place. I wasn’t sure if it had been used and returned, or just knocked loose during shipping. I looked online and found a quick guide to re-seat the switch. It was easy to fix, nothing was damaged — just an odd issue out of the box. Once sorted, it worked perfectly. Brewing coffee is simple, and the results are excellent. I warmed the glass under a hot tap, folded the paper filter, added freshly ground coffee, poured in water using a gooseneck kettle, waited two minutes, stirred, then flipped the switch — and the coffee flowed right into the cup below, just like it should. The only thing I’d flag is the size — I got the 200ml version, and while it works fine, I found it a bit small for a typical single cup. In hindsight, I think the next size up (Size 3) would’ve been better. My fault for not checking more closely, but worth knowing: 250ml+ is probably ideal for one full serving. I think the value for money if fine, not great, but not expensive, it feels nice, and i love the rubber, so I was happy to pay the price paid. It’s easy to clean, makes great-tasting coffee, and turns a morning brew into a small ritual. Lost one star for the loose switch, but otherwise a fantastic little brewer. Just consider sizing up if you like a full cup.

Bought this to increase my options. Loving it so far. Now I only use my nespresso when I dont have the time for pour-over. Works great as a pour-over filter and you can steep with it too. Really enjoy using it. However, it made a goose neck kettle and a quality grinder must haves for better pour-over.

Bought this for my husband as he’s into brewing his own coffee. So far it’s been great and he’s really enjoyed using it. It allows him to adjust times for his coffee, allowing the perfect brew time. The design is great, looks smart and the little switch to release the coffee is a great feature. Really good buy and great value for money seeing my husband uses it 2-3 times a day.

Have tried a number of coffee makers/gadgets/machines, this is now my go to. An ingenious idea a single cup ( I'm the only one who drinks coffee in my house) drip/immersive filter coffee maker allowing you to brew you coffee to your liking. You control the brew time by the use of a little valve in the bottom. Also very easy clean up. The only downside (and it's not really one) is that you may find it difficult to find the filter papers in a normal store.

This rocks! Best of both worlds (drip coffee & steeping) & high quality materials. Best of what the Japanese do well, over-engineer the hell out of daily products.

Świetnie działa, banalnie prosto się myje i zajmuje odrobinę miejsca w szufladzie. Kawa pozbawiona fusów smakuje znakomicie i mam pełną kontrolę nad czasem parzenia. Oryginalne filtry Hario V2 są zdecydowanie najlepsze i stosunkowo tanie. Próbowałem zamienników, ale niektóre wprowadzają posmak mokrej tektury, więc będę kupował tylko Hario. W komplecie z młynkiem Timemore C5 PRO tworzą idealną parę, ale w zupełności wystarczy najprostszy młynek. I nie słuchajcie youtuberów, że potrzebujecie do kompletu magiczny czajnik z gęsią szyją, wagę za ciężkie pieniądze i stoper z zegarem atomowym. Ja po prostu wkładam filtr, mielę kawę raz drobniej, raz grubiej, wsypuję do filtra i zalewam wodą z najzwyklejszego czajnika Philips. Zero problemu, działa równie precyzyjnie. Wcześniej miałem ekspres kapsułkowy Nescafe, ale męczyło mnie kupowanie drogich kapsułek i regularne czyszczenie zakamarków urządzenia. Kolejny, wielki ekspres De'Longhi, który posiadam, zajmuje ogrom miejsca i wymaga jeszcze bardziej skomplikowanego czyszczenia. Stoi w kartonie, bo Hario Switch jest proste w użyciu i robi pyszną kawę. Brałem też pod uwagę AeroPress, ale jednak wybrałem solidne szkło Hario zamiast plastiku. Mam już kilka miesięcy, codziennie robię 1-2 kawy i szkło wygląda jak nowe. Zero osadu, zero rys. Nawet parę uderzeń podczas mycia przetrwało i nic się złego nie dzieje. Do gumowej podstawy też nie można się przyczepić. Wygląda solidnie i nie ma kontaktu z kawą podczas parzenia.

De kwaliteit is super. Simpel systeem en het lekt geen druppel. Heel geschikt voor zowel beginners als gevorderden. Het is mooi om te zien hoe het water door de koffie trekt.
