Rugged is in the name and rugged it is. The sound quality is great. The earpiece can get uncomfortable after hours. Make sure you get the right cable.

Rugged radios headset
I have two of these headsets now (one for my wife and one for me) along with a dual ear headset for my youngest son (one more to get yet for all 4 seats in my jeep) but great quality products as always from rugged radios!

Not to shabby
I used this radio for airsoft, connected it to a beofeng radio, the push to talk is nice I just wish it was one click on, one click off an not actually have to hold it the whole time. An that the boom on the mic was black an not stainless. But that’s just tactical preference. Overall very comfy to wear an great sound quality

Absurdly sturdy. Perfect for the pits.
Bought this for driver communications during Lemons racing. Things tend to get beaten up in the pits, and this headset is built like a tank. If anything, I think I need to bend out the headband a little because it presses into my head a little aggressively (I have an XL noggin, so I imagine this will be good for folks who land more toward the 'pinhead' end of the melon spectrum.)

work great
I use them in concert environment, and get good quality sound and clear mic sound going out. only downside is the open side has very little padding and presses against your head , becoming uncomfortable quickly. I stuffed the cover with additional padding to overcome this issue. I can now wear them through a full show with out headache.

Great compromise between no ear protection and dual ear
sturdy, comfortable. Push to talk on ear cup. Would be better with dial to adjust volume on ear cuff instead of on the radio.

Extremely well built and great bang for the buck.
Comfortable and extremely well built. They have plenty of volume for me to hear my pump operator but yet be able to here the people next to me.
