SOLEMen's Sport Flip-Flop

These are a total score for a guy with plantar fasciitis. I can only speak for my own experience, but they are with out a doubt the most comfortable things I put on my feet. I can wear them all day with out any heel pain popping up. The shoes I wear all have expensive inserts and can be worn comfortably. But these SOLE flips put them all to shame. I would wear them to work if I wouldn't look like a total dork wearing a suite and tie with flip flops. When I come home the shoes come off and these come on.Got heel pain...do yourself a solid and get these!

I've been buying Sole insoles for years now and recommend them to friends and family.I was expecting a normal pair of arch support flip flops, but these are very different from normal. They have a very significant metatarsal pad built in that you can see actually see in the image, but is not really called out in the product description. What this means is that the flip flop is significantly more difficult to fit to your foot since it not only has to fit your foot size, wide, strap location and arch location, but also your metatarsal structure and the thickness of your metatarsal heads. For me, the pad is too big for my metatarsal heads and smooshed my foot forward into the strap on what would otherwise be a good fitting flip flop. After a couple days of use my metatarsals are pulsating and aching.Otherwise it seems like a good solid effort. Strap and sole are comfortable and look durable. I would only recommend to people that are already used to wearing a metatarsal pad

These are the best flips. I bought these for my husband after he saw me wearing them non-stop. I began wearing them when diagnosed with plantar fasciitis and told never to walk barefoot. I was in extreme pain when I went to shoe store to be fitted with running shoes to contend with the plantar issue and the clerk suggested these for when putting on and taking off running shoes was impractical and I was able to walk IMMEDIATELY without pain! I tell everyone about them and have “sold” more people on them.

I was suffering from some pretty painful plantar fasciitis. Several webites said this could take up to a year to correct. I purchased the SOLE flips to wear around the housse on the tile and wood floors and Orthaheel insoles for my shoes and docksiders. Within in six weeks the pain in my feet is gone:) This filps really worked!

Like most other reviews here, the arch support and comfort is great. I have owned 2 pair so far and I plan to buy a 3rd. Why so many pairs? Unfortunately, they only last (in my experience) 2 years. Maybe 2 years is normal for flip flops, but I hoped that they would last longer. Both pairs literally broke each at almost the exact 24 month mark. That said, it won't prevent me from buying another pair.**Update** September 2020My new pair to replace the above only lasted 3 months before the toe strap pulled out of the base. Completely unusable now and there is no warranty. I contacted Sole, but they said that they could not replace them because they have not made them for over 2 years. They asked if I bought them on Amazon??Changing the review to one star.

The thong part is in the wrong place. It jams into my second toe really hard. After wearing these around the house for a week, my toe on each foot was in so much pain, it took a week to ten days to recover. I couldn't work out during this time. These are basically expensive trash now.I've been wearing Sole footbeds for over ten years. I've been wearing Sole Casual Flips with the cloth thong part for about 6 or 7 years. That pair went back on my feet and all is OK. Patiently awaiting availability of those again.

This is to address reviews about the strap being too tight, reviews that scared me off from ordering these in the first place. Turns out these fit perfectly right out of the box. Finally quality flip flops that fit, even though I probably have a HIGH dorsal.In short, the strap may be too tight in a size 8 but in a size 13, for me a perfect fit even considering I have a higher instep & dorsal than most.Bought to replace a worn-out pair of Orthaheel's.. First tried the Orthaheel Bryce model but in size 13 they strap was so loose, it was way too "floppy". They fit more like a 13 EEE. Guess manufacturing standards have changed. These fit perfectly.Also love the arch support (but am use to wearing custom arch supports in every shoe), cupped heel design that keeps heel in place and whatever the footbed material is made of, feet do NOT sweat causing feet to slip on footbed like in a cheap rubber flip flops.. Also, the "thong strap" that goes between the toes is made of fabric so more comfortable & less break-in period.As for complaints of blisters ... that should be expected from any new shoes you wear without first breaking them in especially without socks.For reference, I wear:- size 11M in any quality dress shoe- size 12M in any sneaker or hiking shoe- but need a size 13 to keep from falling off the back of any flip flops

I wear these 24/7. I'm a woman, but this flip flop has been the answer to my back problems. I wear them until the snow flies and then I wear them as my house shoes all winter long. I originally found them at my orthepedic surgeon's shoe boutique on sale. But after that, I've been buying them on Amazon. I truly can't be comfortable unless I wear them. They help with my back pain and just my achy body in general. I am extremely grateful I found these.

Great, as advertised

Great fit and well made.This is my third pair of sport flip sole.My podiatrist is the first person who gave me a pair of these. They are ergonomically shaped for your feet and very comfortable to wear. A little bit on the pricey side but I have Bought many other brands and spent a lot of money on flip-flops that are in the back of my closet. These sole flips are excellent . They last years. Especially if you take care of them.

Good support, no problems. Helpful with plantar fasciitis which I've had for a year now. wider feet may want to consider ordering one size bigger. Narrow feet fit perfectly.
