Obviously it's not because it is refurbished, and I held off for a while before reviewing to make sure it worked well. Pros- I've had no major issues with it. Camera works, 3d works, came with a stylus and charger. I haven't tested the mic since I haven't played a game that uses it. Very minimal visible wear, I was honestly surprised by how clean it looked. Cons- The only things I've noticed with it is that the backplate on the side of the "3" sticker is a little loose, assuming it wasn't screwed down properly but it doesn't really affect anything and it's not loose enough to cause issues. There is a few very small specks on the main screen, you can't see them most of the time, but when it's all one solid color behind it, you can see it a little bit. Touch screen can be a bit finicky. Some spots you have to press hard or multiple times for it to register. It isn't a big issue for games I play on it (Mostly Pokémon) and there's only a 2 or 3 spots that it happens to and they're all close to an edge. Overall very happy with what I received and excited to be able to play early Pokémon games from the DS-3DS era just like old times Review: It works - Like it ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07FDRCCY8 | | Best Sellers Rank | #1,107 in Amazon Renewed ( See Top 100 in Amazon Renewed ) #8 in Nintendo 3DS & 2DS Consoles #175 in Renewed Video Game Consoles & Accessories | | Brand Name | Nintendo | | Color | Red/Black | | Compatible Flash Memory Type | SDHC | | Customer Reviews | 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars (336) | | Input Device | Gamepad | | Manufacturer | Nintendo | | Manufacturer Part Number | SPRSRKAB-cr | | Model Name | 3DS XL | | Model Number | EU-YXMZ-3TMX | | Platform | Nintendo 3DS | | Software Update Supported to Date | unknown | | UPC | 603784266923 | | Warranty Description | 90 days limited warranty | ## Images ![Nintendo 3DS XL - Red/Black (Renewed) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81x4i1a1ZtL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Does it come with a charger?** A: No **Q: what region is the 3ds?** A: You set the region when you setup the DS. **Q: Does it come with an sd card** A: Yes. **Q: Is this the new or old model of 3ds?** A: This is the older model. It began disintegrating almost immediately. Slow cracks at first, but then it started chipping away in critical places. ## Frequently Bought Together - Nintendo 3DS XL - Red/Black (Renewed) - 3DS Pokemon Omega Ruby -- World Edition - Pokémon Y --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/217515861-nintendo-3ds-xl-red-black-renewed](https://www.desertcart.be/products/217515861-nintendo-3ds-xl-red-black-renewed) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-10-06*
