Product Description All fifteen episodes from South Park's hilarious seventh season are now available for the first time in this exclusive 3-disc collector's edition. Classic moments such as Cartman's attempt on Kyle's life, Jimmy and Timmy joining the "Crips" and the boys' experimentation with metro sexuality are all featured in Season Seven. .com There is nothing in South Park's seventh season to offend Tom Cruise (nothing about Scientology, at any rate; that will come in season 9). However, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, Rob Reiner, the Queer Eye guys, Christopher Reeve (!), war supporters and anti-war protesters, and Mormons, do not get off so easy. But, "Who cares?" as the townspeople sing in "I'm a Little Bit Country." What matters is that with this particular episode, South Park attained the precious, syndication-ready 100-episode mark! Another milestone: "Raisins," in which Wendy breaks up with Stan, who falls under the influence of the "Goth kids" ("If you want to be one of the non-comformists, all you have to do is dress just like us and listen to the same music we do"). Even by South Park standards, season 7 is pretty hardcore. In "Christian Rock Hard," Cartman is so determined to attain platinum album status before Kyle and his band that he forms a Christian rock group. The band's repertoire makes Tom Lehrer's once-scandalous "Vatican Rag" sound like "Oh, Happy Day." But mostly, South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone take Cheney-like potshots at pop-culture notables. In "South Park Is Gay!", we discover what is really behind the "metrosexual" phenomenon and the true identity of the Queer Eye for the Straight Guy quartet. In "Butt Out," Rob Reiner is portrayed as a corpulent goo-filled "fascist" willing to the sanction murder (of Cartman) to further his anti-"Big Tobacco" agenda. As you can guess from the title, "Fat Butt and Pancake Head" is a merciless deconstruction of "Bennifer," as Cartman's Jennifer Lopez hand puppet dethrones the real thing, and attracts the amorous attention of Ben Affleck. "All About Mormons" anticipates the Scientology episode, "Trapped in the Closet" (not included here, and if lawyers have anything to say about it, might not be included in a season 9 set, either) with a straight-faced musical dramatization of the Joseph Smith story. "Everyone thought we were making stuff up to be funny," Parker and Stone relate in their mini commentary (optional for each episode). "But we're not. We're not making this stuff up in this show." Which is perhaps why the episode "Cancelled," which posits that Earth exists only as reality-TV fodder for aliens, doesn't seem so farfetched. --Donald Liebenson

The pinnacle of the South Park series.Must own for fans of oldschool SP
This is a great season of South Park, the last of the classics in the South Park series. This season goes up to the 100th episode and a few beyond. Tackling things like smoking, stem cells,Raisins & the intro to the goth kids and the "repeat" episode where earth is a reality tv show. The anti-war episode and so much more. This is the pinnacle of the shows career,i love all these episodes from.season 1-7 anything past that is up in the air,hit or miss type of episodes. I have been a fan of the show since i was 7 and it first aired & watch it still to this day. But there are so many reviews with all the episodes so i'm not gonna get into all of them, but trust me this season is hilarious. The episodes here start to deviate from original stories and rip on current events. But these are the classics,so any fan of the oldschool episodes knows that these are some of the very best episodes. If you have been watching but haven't seen all of these old episodes please trust me and get it because these are for the collecting, you will watch em over & over again and crack up.Don't hesitate,GO GET IT !

South park: season 7
South Park is one of my most favorite shows! It was one that pushed everyoneβs buttons and touched on several issues throughout the years and fast became in pace with the Simpsons. Trey Parker and Matt Stone created such an incredible series that I own every season thatβs out so far. This adult themed animation series is worth every penny to snag complete seasons from Amazon even if you buy for streaming purposes. My reviews for every season I have purchased from Amazon will be the same. Iβm including images from each seasons disc as the differences. Amazon does have excellent prices on the seasons compared to other retailers

Strong Season
A mix of 15 episodes with several really strong episodes make for a great season. The best episodes are "Grey Dawn", about old people driving, "Cancelled" when the boys learn that the earth is just a reality tv show, "Fat Butt and Pancake Head" with J'Lo and Ben Affleck, "Krazy Kripples" about stem cell research, "L'il Crime Stoppers" as the boys become policemen, "South Park Is Gay" as Mr. Garrison is freaked out by metrosexuals. Weaker shows are "I'm a Little Bit Country", "Red Man's Greed". There are a couple of good shows with nice messages, like "Raisins", where Butters shows Stan emotional maturity, and "All About Mormons", when a new family tell Stan about their religion and he can't handle it. Overall a pretty funny season with episodes you'll watch again.

Love South Park & Love the Character's! Every Episode is a HUGE HIT & LAUGH NONSTOP
Simpson's and other show's have nothing on South Park! They hit every current situation spot on, with the best comedy ever! The character's rule! You must complete the whole series! You will be rolling with tears laughing, if you have humor and understand current events!

Case is a little beat up but discs seem in good shape
Arrived in the cardboard case rather than the plastic one I was expecting based on the picture, but I actually prefer that so that was a cool surprise. The only problem is it was a little beat up so it's a hard to get the case off.

It's South Park what can I say
Anyone with any ounce of human decency will find this widely offensive, crude, very rude and just stupid comedy.I love it so I don't know what that says about me.

Two bens and one jen. among others
the complete seventh season of south park comes to dvd. there's no point in me describing the set up and basic idea of the show because there's no chance of anyone reading this who doesn't already know all about it. so let's look at the discs and the episodes.fifteen episodes. five to a disc. all have language tracks in english german and spanish, and subtitles in english danish dutch finnish german norwegian spanish and swedish. the only extras on each discs are mini commentaries on each episode from trey parker and matt stone, the creators of the show. these are different from usual dvd commentaries because they only run about five minutes, during which time they will say all they have to say about the episode before moving on. two highly articulate and very amusing individuals, every one of these is well worth a listen.episodes on disc one:'cancelled': the boys discover earth is just a reality tv show and try to stop the aliens who make it cancelling the programme. very clever satire on reality tv.'krazy kripples': cripples jimmy and timmy mistakenly join a street gang and christopher reeves goes a bit crazy in his attempts to walk again. tasteless, and it manages to satirise the fact that it goes too far, but also very funny.'toilet paper': the boys toilet paper a house and cartman tries to deal with kyle's attack of remorse. featuring clever movie parodies and generally pretty funny.'I'm a little bit country': an iraq war protest [this season dates from 2003] leads cartman to travel to 1776 to meet the founding father. the 100th episode of the show cleverly breaks the fourth wall and makes clever points about politics. great stuff.'fat butt and pancake head': also rather dated topically now but a merciless satire on then hot couple ben affleck and jennifer lopez with cartman making a hand pupppet of the latter that takes on a life of it's own. this has the most wonderfully twisted ending ever!disc two:'lil crime stoppers' the boys become police officers. great satire on cop shows.'red man's greed' the town loses everything to the local indian tribes. funny character names and a good look at greed'south park is gay' satirising the tv show queer eye for the straight guy has all the man of the town become metrosexuals only for kyle and mr garrison to discover the shocking truth about the show presenters. another delightfully inspired twist follows.'christian rock hard' takes on the music industry and downloading music off the internet and nothing escapes the satire. wonderfully satisfying ending.'grey dawn' covers the issue of old age pensioners being allowed to drive and satirises a certain 80's movie. good fun.disc three:'casa bonita' cartman will stop at nothing to get to a restaurant. and I mean nothing. fun watching how it turns out.'all about mormons' has a mormon family move to town. it appears to be satirising the religion at first but is far more cunning than that. delightful ending.'butt out' takes on the pro and anti smoking lobby with a good few laughs as a result.'raisins' mercilessly satirises goth culture and movie cliches about break ups.and the christmas episode 'it's christmas in canada' is a fun satire of the wizard of oz. with a surprising man behind the curtain. another brilliantly inventive episode.a quality season in a great package for it. and I had no problems with the disc for the episode christian rock hard.
