The "Dali" Classic Stainless Steel Double Edge Safety Razor + 5 Stainless Steel Razor Blades From the Handlebar Shaving Company

I had two shaves so far with this razor since I received it. At a glance, this is a very nicely made razor. I find the length of the pole, non-slip texture and the hefty weight combination superior to that of Merkur 34C HD, which I have been using for few months now. Merkur 34C HD was second DE razor I purchased and have been very satisfied with as it gave close (close enough that is) shave without shedding any blood. For two shaves I had with this "Dali" razor, it did give me a close shave (slightly more aggressive shave than the 34C I find) each time, however I am getting multiple nicks with blood oozing out on each of those shave. Upon close inspection of the head (pole leaves absolutely no complaints), I noticed an uneven finish on one side of the top cover piece - it's just a portion of the cover but when the pole is screwed on tight, I noticed the blade will not bend evenly through the length of the head, possibly resulting in cuts I'm getting. The other side of the head doesn't have this problem. To me this looks like nothing more than a manufacturing defect that should not have passed the QC inspection. I would very much like to keep this razor as I recognize the value in the overall build quality of the razor, however I do not look forward to anymore nicks and cuts I'll get from shaving with this razor. I'll contact the seller to see if he/she is willing to send me the replacement head that would make this razor a keeper. I'm somewhat disappointed that the seller didn't inspect the item closely enough before shipping it out. It sounds like most of folks here received the razor without this problem.Update 1/11/2017After I sent a message to the seller with photos and a request, I promptly received a courteous response back promising a replacement head. The replacement head arrived in four days and I enjoyed a good shave with the razor. This razor is a keeper and am very satisfied with the purchase. I revised the rating to 5 Stars as I believe it's an excellent value. This company is committed and stands behind its business.

This is a nice razor. The weight is really nice and I love the head. It has the style of an Edwin Jagger razor head. I did have one gripe, when the razor came, there was an imperfection on the edge of the head that would have made the razor unusable. I reached out to the seller and he sent me out a replacement head no questions asked. Recommended but inspect the head to make sure don't get a bad one.

The weight and construction of the razor is really lovely. The texture on the grip allows me firm control and several years into use I am still thrilled with it.

The shaver was ordered to replace one I have used for years. I could not be happier. The shaver is solid all round and the long handle helps to get a more closer shave under the chin. I would recommend the Handlebar Shaving Company and the Dali to anyone looking for a classic shaver.

Started wet shaving with a "As Seen on TV" item, after 1 year the razor's mechanizim rusted and would not open in order to replace the blade. I recently purcashed a Dali Classic razor, this item is a far superior product and for the same money. Outstanding value.

Shaved with it Twice and it is a Lot more comfortable than the last razor , Arrived quickly. And Undamaged
