Review: Very important for older people - I started taking hmb almost 2 years ago, after reading about its benefits for elderly people. I am a 63 year old female. And I can vouch for the fact that it actually does help maintain muscle mass! I started a workout program almost 2 years ago after I found that I had become very weak, and couldn't do things easily I used to be able to do. The one thing that bothered me the most was that I could not squat down to the ground and get back up! After 18 months of working with various things including a kettlebell, dumbbells, and exercise ball, a step, and a mini trampoline, I regained considerable amount of strength and stamina, and I could once again squat to the ground and get back up. I can also lift a 50 lb bag of chicken feed , or a 40 lb bag of softener salt , which I couldn't do prior to this. During this time I was taking hmb also. Then I got covid twice within 6 weeks, and couldn't work out. And then right after that came a big emotional event in my life followed by the holiday season! So, for about 6 months I totally slacked off on my exercising. However, well I did lose stamina, and a bit of muscle, I was able to maintain my ability to lift 50 lb bags easily, and squat to the ground and get back up. I attribute this 100% to my daily intake of HMB powder! This is One supplement, that at my age, I will never stop taking!! I buy this brand because it is in bulk, and it is the best value around! There's nothing added to it, which I consider to be very important. Update 6/24/26 I continue to take HMB daily. This is one supplement that I will NEVER be without! Even when I back off my exercise program during the winter months in favor of yard work (FL), taking HMB maintains a significant amount of muscle strength. I will turn 66 in September. I have no problem carrying a full five gallon bucket of water, or forty pound bags of salt for the softener or chicken feed. I take a daily without fail! Muscle strength is incredibly important the older that you get. I also drink whey protein every single day of my life. The older you get, the more protein you need. Much more than when you were younger. If you're older like I am, do yourself a favor and add HMB to your daily routine. It'll pay you back 10 fold in retained muscle strength!! If you want to increase muscle strength, do some simple strength exercises also.
Review: Best Supplement on the Market! A true Game-Changer. - GAME CHANGER! I'm a Black 51yo (6'4, 220) and my Wife is White, 36yo (5'3, 145). We Mix 2 servings of this (2g) with a serving (5g) of flavored Creatine+Energy in a blender bottle, 5 days a week - we feel a HUGE difference! The HMB + Creatine 'stack' creates a high-powered supplement that energizes, builds muscle, retains density, AND absorbs very easily and quickly! This HMB powder is no-frills: no color, no flavor, no additives, no chalkiness, AND it dissolves very well in a blender bottle. It also 'plays well with others', by mixing seamlessly with Creatine or BCAA powder. We can push ourselves in the gym 5x a week and recover relatively quickly. Yes, there is soreness - but never so much that we have to miss a workout. At my age (51), I'm able to lift as heavy as I want 5x a week and bounce right back the next week! This is the 'Best Secret Supplement' on the market and we swear by it! Hope this review helps!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good Product packaging could be better
*by B***W on April 26, 2026*

’ve been using BulkSupplements HMB and overall I’m very happy with the product itself. It mixes well, seems high quality, and I’ve noticed it helps with recovery and reducing soreness, especially after tougher workouts. It’s a straightforward supplement without a lot of unnecessary extras, which I like. The only downside is the packaging. The bag isn’t the easiest to work with—resealing can be a bit of a hassle, and scooping powder out can get messy. A more durable container or improved seal would definitely make a difference. Overall, the product delivers on performance and value. If they upgraded the packaging, it would be close to perfect.
