39 Pc Steel Hand Stamp Set Kit

Reasonable price. Had to un-stick some gooey stuff that was projected in my stamper. Did it with no ease...oer than that good product...should make a set as reasonable with the the decoration pcs.

Received 39 Pc Steel Hand Stamp Set Kit very quickly in the mail. Can't wait to try it. Not sure really how to use it. Wish it came with instructions. I'm used to hammering so hope it works well.

I was excited to try this as I had previously used individual die held by hand to stamp letters and numbers. The self resetting snap mechanism just didn't work. It may have been that the one I got was defective and I could have returned for a replacement, but the hassle wasn't worth it.

This product disappointed me a bit. The individual stamps are solid and heavy duty, but the indentations made with the auto stamper are faint and not as uniform as you would expect. It works really well on soft things like wood, but it does not stamp metal well, which is what it was intended for. I found myself having to hit the stamps with a hammer to get a solid imprint. That defeats the purpose of this product.

This tool is great! It completely eliminates the need for a hammer making the process much quieter. My only complaint is that my other stamps can't be used with it. I guess that is technically a compliment :) It's so much better that i wish it were universal.

The individual stamps are ok but the punch is pretty much worthless for stamping keys. It may be fine for other materials. As with any of these sets, trying to get characters to align nicely is pretty much hit and miss - i.e. impossible. A hammer works fine but what I have found works very well (except for the alignment challenge) is to use a Palm Nailer. I have the Porter Cable and find it delivers a very consistent punch (translate depth). You must have an air compressor to use this tool but it's also useful for so many other things.I can't believe nobody makes a device that allows you to place 2 or 3 of these characters next to each other and allow you to "hammer" them all at the same time to get a nicely aligned result. Someone with an inventive mind needs to go forth!

i was looking for this exact item for my use, its cute and servicable, and its in a nice case that holds the tools together till i need the again.

I purchased this item to use in marking hand crafted leather goods and when it works it is great for ghat task, however the when it works is the problem the punch's operation is inconsistant resulting in unprofessional marking of finished product. Great idea but the execution falls short.
