Wow, this has been priceless. No more looking for my reading glasses just to read labels, now all I have to do is pick up my magnifier and "Voila" easy reading for me. I really love this. And, I found a little insect outside and used the super magnifier to look at it and there's a whole new world out there. It wasn't just a "Bug" but a living thing and so interesting with it's little wings and body. Now I'll think twice about swatting an insect although flies will still get killed I'm sorry to say. And mesquitos. I can hardly wait for spring when I can get outside and look at EVERYTHING in my magnifier. What a gem.

Ordered this for my dad has macular degeneration. He has multiple magnifying glasses however this. is his favorite. He likes it so ugh I'm ordering a second. This has the 5x magnifier but still has decent size lens unlike others he has.

This little magnifying glass is the best! I do tons of crafts, and even though I have glasses somethings just need a little extra help to see. I craft with adhesive vinyl and sometimes I can not seem to find the cuts. The glitter vinyl is the worst! Sewing is another craft I need help with at times. I like to do embroidery work. If I make a mistake without this little magnifier I'm in trouble. This set comes with three different magnifing glass lenses. I use the larger one the most. It has the lowest power magnifier. It seems to be the best for the projects I do. Each one clips in and out of the handle or base. The handle is comfortable to hold and its overall pretty light. It's very easy to switch from one size to the next. I do not have strong fingers and I have no trouble at all. They slide in the base and pull out with a light squeeze on each side. There is a switch to turn the light on and off. It's great because for me the more light the better I can see. Don't worry the batteries are included. I was so excited that I was able to get the LED hand held magnifying glass for reading and low vision to try out. It comes with 3 high quality magnifying glass lens and LED lighting. The batteries are included with the kit and were easy to install. It's impressive to find a magnifier glass with 3 different strength lens. I've tested it out on all 3 strengths and find that for most things I like the middle one. Magnification strengths are 2.5x, 5x, and 16x.The 3 different shatter proof lens are easy to interchange with a simple button release feature. Even with arthritic fingers and wrists, it is easy to manage. Having batteries does add to the weight but I find it comfortable to hold for as long as I need to. The handle is has a rubber insert and a ergonomic design making it just that much easier to hold.I am a sewer and there are days when the needles I use are very slim making the thread hole almost impossible to manage. Now I can have a magnified and lighted view of it. Unfortunately I do make mistakes at times so using this magnifier to help locate the stitches that I need to remove has made that job much more simple. I won't go into the woes of label reading since I now have a remedy close at hand to be able to read medication directions, etc.The LED light is a very valuable feature on this magnifying glass. Dim lighting messes with my vision and having the light just where I need it makes it possible to read the finest print on the smallest labels. I got this for my mother. She has pretty decent vision, but struggles when she is sewing at times. I made her a package of various sewing items and included this. She adores it. She has used it so much! She has a big one at home that plugs in and such, but this is in her sewing bag that she carries with her. She has been using it to help finish quilting projects. I even saw her pull it out to read something the other day. She is crazy hard to shop for so it made me super happy to find something that she really wanted. She The battery life is great. No replacement needed yet and I liked that it came with batteries. The "heads" on the lamp are very easy to switch between. They included instructions, but it was pretty intuitive. She largely just uses the middle magnification, but the extra options are nice. I fully recommend this. I received this as a sample in exchange for an honest review. These are my thoughts, though.
