DANGEROUS
UPDATED REVIEWThe item was used for the 3rd time yesterday (25th May) and it blew up the electricity to our entire house. The plug was smoking before a loud bang went off and now the drill is useless. The sellers want proof of this but how can I when it's dangerous and the fuse is totally gone? I refuse to try and plug it in again. I have requested a refund for the item as I can return it and they can test it themselves. We've done most of our main red concrete pathway so far. My boyfriend had some bother with the hammer cutting our randomly in its 2nd use but I think it might have been our extension cable. We used it for the first few days no bother. I will update if we continue and have more problems. As you can see we have managed to bring up a 7 inch thick solid concrete path and it took about 3 hours altogether. And we have done another 3 hours on a section opposite this one. We used 40 diesel engine oil to fill the hammer

Great tool
I bought this product for breaking up a thick concrete drive, taking down a stone wall and brick wall. Over several days I have achieved my goal. This item is heavy, just right for the tasks above and is a strong study piece of kit. The attachments are useful and it all comes with a carry case for ease of movement. It is easy to use, just put oil in it and check level occasionally. I think this is a great bit of kit, well priced, study and easy to use. Compared to renting one on several occasions this option is a no brainer as when I have finished with it I will sell it on recouping some of the initial purchase cost.

Great VFM piece of kit
Wish I'd bought one years ago rather than wasting money on hire. Generally used for fence post replacement, cuts through tarmac like butter and concrete very well. Only used a few times on commercial work and it does hold up well. All in all if it breaks after a few jobs you're already better of than two £60 hires - no brainer. Very happy so far....

Works well, don't forget to add oil.
I used this for breaking concrete ~ 3-4" thick. It works well. The three tools are good and have plenty heft. The carry case is good, with two wheels at the base for moving around. The tool is heavy (~15-20kg?), this is a good thing for this job.important - I needed to add oil before use, it was supplied empty. I used synthetic engine oil. I also added moly grease (CV/ high temp grease) to the contacting part of the bit.

If it will do the job it’s 1700 at I might need more
To dig a trench to fit a metal box gutter to take the water away from front of garages I am going to try it to see if it’s good enough for the job.

Excellent piece of equipment
I bought this to break up a 6 inch thick 12ft x 12 ft concrete base. I managed this with ease in less than 3 hours and would have managed far quicker if I was fitter - I am 72. Far cheaper than hiring a breaker.

Value for money.
This jack hammer was money well spent.Used it to remove our old fence posts & the concrete that was left last time someone did it too. This tool made the job so much easier.
